We had been booked to stay in the Royal Suite at Kepos for 4 nights and given all the good reviews and lovely photos, we had high hopes. However, from the scruffy entrance with overflowing bins to the grubby and broken sun loungers by the very cold pool we were sadly disappointed. The whole place has a sad, slightly abandoned air to it. The Royal Suite was Travel Lodge in standard. The headboards of the bed were worn and tired. The bathroom towels were frayed and discoloured. The terrace featured uncomfy rusty furniture and overlooked the so-called spa - a dirty looking hot tub surrounded by cheap astroturf. The drinks round the pool were astronomical and the restaurant fare underwhelming - but without prices to match. The menu was presented in an off-putting plastic folder. I imagine most people only eat there the first night. An evening musician played to an empty garden which just made the resort feel even sadder! We checked out after two days as soon as we found somewhere else to go - not easy in the middle of August! The kindly manager gave us a voucher to compensate but it is worthless as we won’t be returning and I couldn't't recommend it to any friends or family. The staff - and particularly the manager - were very kind and hospitable; my issue is with the standard of the resort itself. The photos simply aren't representative of the current standard

Great place in the village of Bronte and the host is a very nice person, always there to meet his guests requests. Rooms are modern and clean. There is also a small bar and a paddle court. I highly recommend this place based on my experience and I will stay again

Horrible, traumatic experience at thia gated “spa” in the middle of nowhere esentially. We are seniors and were intimidated and threatened by Salvatore Russo so badly that we fled and were shaking as we left late at night. Any positive reviews here are because of threats. Aside from that the food and service was poor and a made up version by the chef. Go elsewhere!

One of the best places we have ever stayed. The rooms, management, food, views, location were all amazing . The pool area was like heaven . The spa bath in our room was such a treat. A walk into the nearby village was well worth it and we found a bar selling Prosecco 12eu a bottle

Nice place but the safe box was not working , i had to disconnect the minibar .. was too noisy , no blackout curtains , the shower head was withou pressure of water

We have just returned from Sicily, having spent 3 nights at the hotel. Highly recommend booking if you’re looking for a very relaxing and chilled out stay in the hills near Mount Etna. Our hotel room was very clean. We really appreciated the modern decor, we stayed in a lovely suite (room 202) that also featured a jacuzzi bath. It was very peaceful and quiet. The room was very well equipped with mini bar, smart TV, separate shower and toilet, as well as huge selection of complimentary toiletries & a very large bed. I asked for an additional pillow (my preference, my partner didn’t need one), and it was sent to the room within minutes - thanks for that! We ate in the restaurant one evening, very chilled out and nice to eat our meal with a good view down the coast. The breakfast assortment was plentiful & great to sample a lot of local and homemade produce. The staff were all super friendly & felt like they always wanted to look after us. Great tip- the staff work very hard and so it is sometimes necessary to find them in the restaurant for poolside cocktails etc. but do find them- The Long Island Ice Tea on a hot Sicilian day was gorgeous! The manager was friendly and professional, he really helped us with booking an airport transfer (roughly €70), which took all the stress away. We felt very welcome at this hotel. We really enjoyed visiting and wouldn’t hesitate to return on our next trip to Sicily.

We had wonderful stay in this hotel ( 4 nights), with sea and Etna view. Well located between Catania, Taromina and of course Etna! It's a calm hotel in the middle of lemon trees, with parking.Nice big rooms, pool with great view. We enjoyed our relaxing time. Good food, breakfast/ dinner and lovely people. And there was a musician/singer to gently entertain us for dinner/ drink at the pool bar.

This is one of the best places on the planet. Everything you can dream of is in this hotel. This is a very private place with gorgeous landscapes. The hotel rooms are clean and well maintained, everything is new. I advise you to visit the royal suite. I use a wheelchair and everything in this hotel is excellent for disabled people! The hotel even has its own electric wheelchair, Im exited. I would like to thank the staff of the hotel! Every member was especially attentive to us! Director Salvatore Special thanks to you, I have not met such a kind and sympathetic person for a very long time. We are eternally grateful for such awesome, luxurious stay. We will definitely come back to you again and again!
