Scorpios Beach

Hotel room’s AC wasn’t working and there were a lot of ants. The floor seemed dirty too. Location is bad as there are only a few buses running per day however the bus station is 30 seconds away from the hotel. As is the beach. Overall Santorini is really expensive so you are getting what you paid for in the island. I’d rate it a 6 out of 10 but it’s a nice choice if you’re planning to save some money and not spend too much time at the hotel.

We stayed in this beautiful, small beach hotel with 23 rooms during 12-15th September. This beautifully whitewashed one story built hotel with spacious suites and pretty garden is an Oasis to enjoy your Greek holiday. The hotel It is only few minutes walk from the beach & 10 minutes drive from the airport. Has very good bus service to all near by towns including Fira (Thira) and Ola. The reception staff Konstantina, Enrika, Konstantinos and Anastasios were extremely pleasant and helpful. The chef; Raha & Tina prepared delicious meal & breakfast. Breakfast had a wide range of tasty savory & sweet dishes. I highly recommend this place & can’t wait to return there for another wonderful Greek hospitality. The hotel is away from the main tourist areas of Santorini opposite a volcanic sand beach. For us, it was the perfect choice. The rooms were spacious, well equipped and recently decorated. The staff were superb - endlessly helpful, friendly and knowledgeable, suggesting the best ways of seeing everything the island has to offer and proving to be right every time. The relatively small pool and poolside bar were perfect for a relaxing day, well sheltered from any wind but allowing plenty of loungers for sun worshipers. While there isn't a restaurant, there was a limited menu - all very tasty and well presented - which could be served in the pool area or at sheltered tables by Reception. The breakfast buffet was excellent with a wide variety of food. All in all this was the perfect setting for what we wanted.

We wanted to have a vacation in Santorini and found this hotel. Immediately as we came into the hotel we got a warm and amazing welcome (it was Konstantina that welcomed us). We got a great and warming room, the team (reception, bar, food and all…) did every thing to make our visit amazing! The breakfast was very good and the prices and food in the bar and pool made us use it more then once. It is very close to most if not all places and we warmly recommend staying there!

If you’re looking for a quieter area of Santorini, off the beaten track, then Scorpios Beach is the perfect place to relax, whilst being in easy reach of Fira, Kamari and Oia! The rooms are well equipped, very comfortable and cleaned daily to a good standard. Breakfast is the same everyday but there is enough choice to have something different each day. We stayed for a week and didn’t get bored of the fresh fruit, meats and cheeses, pastries and savoury options. The pool is not too busy as lots of guests use the beach across the road. Comfortable Sun loungers surround the pool and there is a great pool bar with a range of snacks and meals- all really delicious! Towels are provided too. To explore the island, it is really helpful to hire a car, however there are buses from close to the hotel to Fira. Car hire is arranged easily if required with the main Reception. Every member of staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly throughout our stay and we felt so relaxed after a week. The hotel is very close to the airport, but the noise wasn’t overly noticeable. We would say that this is a less touristy area of Santorini and the surroundings of the hotel are not necessarily as pretty as some of the main towns, but we enjoyed the fact that it was close to the beach, there are some lovely little restaurants (we recommend Captain Loizos and Galinis) and once inside, everything within the hotel is well thought out and organised. It really is a beautiful place to stay and we would definitely return. This is the second time that we have stayed in Santorini and we really enjoyed being in this particular area. We would advise visiting some of the busier places such as Oia, Fira and Pyrgos earlier in the morning before cruise ships come in!!

Just got back today from Scorpios. We had a brilliant stay. Staff very friendly, rooms great and spacey cleaned every day by the hard working house keeping staff who were so friendly. All the staff were friendly. Pool area and bar were immaculate, no fighting for sun beds. Breakfast was lovely. Would definitly recommend this hotel. We will definitely be back. Its a very quiet area but it is easy to get a local bus into the nearest town for 1 euro 60 cents. We travelled by local bus to different areas. There is a hotel transfer bus which we used a few nights which was great 25 euros for the four of us this was at 1130pm nothing was a bother for staff. We done the greek wedding night it was brilliant. So much to see in Santorini. We ate at the surf club and also there is a restaurant above it which did lovely food. 10 minute walk when you turn left out of hotel. We went as two couples and we were not disappointed could have stayed another week. Hotel grounds kept clean. Thank you so much to all the staff they really all work hard to maintain the hotel and make sure you have an enjoyable stay. Thank you so much to you all!! If you are looking for a nice relaxing holiday this i would definitly recommend this hotel.

Scorpios has recently been renovated and we were among the first guests to stay there. Our room was spacious, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated in a minimal style. The staff is so accommodating and friendly and made our stay wonderful. The hotel also boasts an amazing pool area with comfortable beach beds and a pool bar which serves refreshing snacks and drinks and mouthwatering dishes. Generally, our stay was unforgettable!
