A wonderful week had. The location is fantastic. A few steps from the beach and restaurants. As a female solo traveller I felt extremely safe in the hotel and in Santorini in general. Mantha and stefanos are SO welcoming and helpful. Breakfast is limited but plentiful. The rooms are very basic but have everything you need. The wonderful cleaner also keeps them very clean. As someone who enjoys running/long walks the location is fantastic. Highly recommend Princes restaurant and Imba bar located 5 mins walk away. I will most definitely be returning. Note- there is no safe in the room and no full length mirrors

We had a wonderful two week stay at the Oxygen. The location is absolutely perfect, bang in the middle of the promenade with the beach only a few steps away and more restaurants/bars than you could possibly visit within easy reach. The pool/bar area is lovely and kept very clean/tidy. Nikos and Stephanos were both extremely friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The rooms are fairly basic but perfectly comfortable and kept very clean. There were touches that more expensive hotels normally don’t bother with - e.g. a drying rack with clips on the balcony, a decent number of hangers. Breakfast was perfectly good. Obviously it is a small hotel so there is a limit on how large a range of food they could do, but there was always an egg dish, bacon or sausage, fresh melon, yoghurt, a continental cheese/meat/salad option, and a range of pastries and cereals available. The view from the seafront rooms is lovely - you can sit out and watch the sea, the moon, the aeroplanes, and the people passing by on the promenade. However you do get some food smell from Zorbas which is right in front of the hotel. However: please be aware that this hotel is not perfect. We had some issues with things like the balcony door being difficult to open/close; the shower head being comically broken (half the water came out of the top); the fridge being inexplicably in the wardrobe so we had next to no hanging space; and very intermittent wifi. We’re fairly relaxed travellers so none of this really bothered us (just found it mildly amusing) but if that’s the sort of thing you would find irritating, this may not be the hotel for you! The only thing I would really change about this hotel is better coffee at breakfast! Other things you need to be aware of: There are no room safes. No full length mirrors in the rooms. When we went (late September/early October) the kitchen was only open 12.00 to 18.00 so you needed to go out for dinner. The bar was open until 22.30 in our first week and 22.00 in the second week. We didn’t eat at the hotel apart from breakfast so can’t comment on the food. It is not really suitable if you have mobility issues. It is five minutes from the road and you have to walk (with your luggage) along the road and then down an alley which includes a flight of five steps, with a lot of uneven surfaces.

We had an excellent stay at The Oxygen Hotel in Kamari. We stayed in room 1, which overlooked the restaurants and bars of the main ***** and the beach. The room was spacious, the bed was extremely comfortable, air con was great and the very friendly cleaning lady did a brilliant job every day. Mantha, George and Nik were always so friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. We had a late flight home, and Mantha arranged for us to keep our room right until the last minute before we had to go (for a small fee), which made our last day so relaxing. Breakfast was good, always lots to choose from and always fresh. The pool was lovely - sunbeds were always available, as were pool towels. An amazing hotel made for an awesome holiday, and Nik makes the best strawberry milkshakes! Thank You x

I always try to be objective and honest in my reviews. We’ve just come back from a week at Oxygen, we loved it!! The staff are just so friendly, everyone, from the owners to the room cleaner. We just can’t fault them, nothing is a problem for them and everything is a pleasure! Nik on the bar was top notch, ask him for local advice on bars, restaurants buses he’s a mine of information. The bar and food both well priced, and we ate dinner everyday here (that’s lunch in the South!!) food was fabulous. Pizzas are some of the best we’ve had (around 10e) sandwiches and omelettes all fresh and tasty. I’d happily recommend the food! The room is a good size, plenty of wardrobe space, nice bathroom and one of the comfiest beds I’ve ever slept in!! Great aircon and a nice pool view. Cleaned everyday and towels whenever you needed them, they even supply pool towels too!! Transfers drop you at Black Sands (they own both) don’t be put off, it’s a 5 min walk and they’ll help you if need it. Time from the airport was about 20 mins depending on number of stops (we were 4th drop) Pool area was great, nice size pool and nice temperature too. Plenty of sun beds so no need for 6am towel rushes!! The hotel is on the seafront, a 1 min walk to the sea. We often went for a dip and back to the sun beds again!! I’d defo wear shoes in the sea though, black sand and stones on the beach and the sea is manly volcanic rock and gets deep quickly. Lovely clear warm water though! I’m summary, I’d happily recommend Oygen Seaside, it’s just a lovely place to stay. Kamari is a lovely resort loads of food/drink options too. The biggest plus was the staff, Mantha, Stepanos and Nik, together they are a perfect team.

Excellent place to stay with nothing too much trouble for the owners. The location is central to everything so not far to go for eating out, beach etc. Housekeeping was to a meticulous level by the ever friendly lady. Rooms were well maintained and of a good size. We had a nice sea view from our room. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. The owner and staff were very helpful in assisting my disabled wife. All around exactly what we wanted for our holiday.

Just returned from an 11 day break at this wonderful little gem of a hotel tucked just behind the *****. From the moment we arrived from the airport at Black Sands (sister hotel), we were looked after wonderfully by the lovely owners who walked us to the Oxygen (approx. 3 mins.) and showed us our fabulous room which had a balcony overlooking the sea (Room 1). Room was cleaned thoroughly every day, new towels and bedding whenever required. The cleaning lady was exceptional. The breakfasts were lovely with a hot selection, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal etc. The pool area was spotlessly clean, quiet and relaxing. Pool/beach towels were provided free of charge. Nikolas, the bar man was great, he gave us lots of tips for things to do and see, which part of the beach was best to swim at etc. The location of this hotel was perfect for us as it stands more or less in the middle of the *****, just behind Zorbas Restaurant. It was bliss to be able to walk out of our room, walk down a few steps and out on to the ***** of fabulous restaurants and bars within a couple of minutes. Kamari itself is wonderful, we loved the beach bar at the beginning of the beach (rock end) to sit with a drink and watch the world go by before taking a sunbed on the beach just in front for a sunbathe and swim in the sea. Every night we found something different to do, Greek Tavernas, Italian Pizza/Pasta, Cocktail Bars, Japanese/Sushi bar, lively karaoke and so much more. We used the bus service to visit Fira and Oia which was super efficient and only 1.60 euros per trip. We will definitely return to the Oxygen, cant wait.

Fantastic stay here the staff and owners cannot do enough and the place spotlessly clean. Good variety for breakfast and 50m from the beach. The pool area is great as your fighting for sunbeds as the hotel only has 12 rooms and twenty sunbeds. Will definately be coming back. Ps also met Kevin Costner 🤣.

Fantastic place in a wonderful position. The owners Mantha and Stefanos were so helpful and Nikos and George looked after us all day(in the bar and pool area) the only place we have ever stayed where you can get a sunbed and umbrella at any time of the day. Breakfast was very good and very fresh also constantly replenished. Mantha was there to meet us from the bus, she gave us a cold drink and checked us in, she then took us to our room about a five minute walk away, the room was absolutely spotlessly clean, the lady that cleans them was lovely. We would highly recommend this accommodation and are already looking to book for next year.
