We are so happy with had the opportunity to meet our Hostess Arestides he was above and beyond exceptional. He was helpful and he was able to get our transportation to the airport the correct time. Also, any restaurant reservation he was able to take care that for us and suggested great restaurant by the area by calling the restaurant I making sure we get a table with a nice view. He was very nice explaining everything to us when we arrive to the hotel and show us all the highlights of the island the best beaches and places to go. We felt safe and happy everything we will go to the front desk, and he was there to assist us. I can't thank you enough for all you time and hospitality. we are so happy we stayed there. The staff were so friendly, the rooms were immaculate. It was so peaceful and safe. I loved our pool right outside of our room 101, and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel is not too far from the center to Fira by walk about 7 minutes. Thank you again Arestides and the entire Staff.

We stayed at Nissos for a week as a group of 13 (+ baby) for a friends wedding and the hotel was perfect for us! The staff were all absolutely lovely, so relaxed and incredibly accommodating. The location is smack bang in the middle of Thira as well as being minutes from the bus station to explore the rest of the island. Couldn’t recommend staying here more- definitely request the room with the mega terrace overlooking the pool- iconic. Thanks again to all the staff you made our week wonderful!

Wow what an absolutely gem. Where do I start? There’s so many positive things to say I don’t know where to start. My husband booked this hotel at the last minute a couple days before departure. The hotel organised our pick up from the airport which was a stunning brand new Mercedes luxury mini bus which had enough glitz and and glam to satisfy the Kardashian’s! Once arriving at the hotel, the reception staff made us feel very welcomed with lots of information about the hotel and local area. To our surprise the hotel run a free service to and from Fira which is an added bonus as we knew we were a 30 minute walk away. Then we were taken to our room by a lovely man who carried out super heavy luggage down the steps to our room. Wow, the view was amazing. The room was spacious clean and fresh with a lovely bed bigger than two doubles pushed together. The bathroom had a rainfall shower with a handset built into an alcove which maybe tricky if your over 5’7! But don’t let that put you off, the views from every angle of the hotel more than make up for it. Breakfast was included which was simple but to a high standard nothing pre packed all fresh. The waiters were fantastic full of energy and knowledgeable. We booked our first evening meal at the hotel and the quality was amazing everything was done to a high standard. The only disappointment was we simply didn’t book longer. If your thinking of booking please do you won’t be disappointed. I booked this hotel solely based on the excellent reviews but I was debating about the location as it is not in the tourist spots. This hotel deserves all the excellent reviews! The manager, Maggy, as well as all the staff, is very nice and helpful. They really care about the guests and make every effort to make the guests comfortable. Maggy arranged all the transportation, including to the airport and to catch the tours, and local restaurants. When we went out for a hiking and got tired, I just sent her a message and she arranged a car to pick us up! Top notch services by the Nano Suites team. As for the location, it is so tranquil and beautiful that we even hate to leave the hotel. Try to enjoy a breakfast, a drink and sunrise view from the patio. You won’t regret booking this hotel - highly recommended!

I cannot emphasize enough how amazing this hotel and the owners and staff are .. I have a 12yo autistic son who has never been abroad and hates change and pretty much everything ... I had been able to speak to the owners before hand and explain and wow they went wayyyy above what you would expect to accommodate us.. the hotel is gorgeous 2 pools and areas 1 more quiet with pool shower toilets and apartments with hot tubs clean cool air con obv .. no trouble is too much .. fridge and kettle with some don't have !! The. In the main hotel there are more apartments and rooms all beautiful clean and well laid out (we had 2 Apts) the pool for that side is more social with a bar and lots of couple type sofas and beds over the pool beautiful at night all lit up .. breakfast is served here and again beautiful breakfast ..it's the staff that make it tho especially Anna Marie and her family .. not only is she beautiful on the outside she is gorgeous with her thoughts and caring ... My son would not have stayed had they not been able to do all the extra bits. (Balloons toys quiet area etc ). We will come back again when we can . And it will be to here !! I just can't recommend enough .. kamari is the beach side for want of better description.. it's a ***** of beautiful restaurants cafes on level with the beach no steap steps like the other side of the island .. so straight into hot black sand .. wear beach socks! There is no tide as such and children can Wade out a fair bit before it drops so snorkeling at the edge of the sea next to us was possible ... Plenty of choice of type of restaurants but obv fish is an excellent choice .. oh and sorbet .. there is a small steep hill to get to the hotel (obv cars drop off and collect Inc taxis if u need them we hired a car ) but got used to that after a few days and I have a very bad back and hip! But prepare for stairs as they are everywhere except the front ***** in kamari it's quite level .. anyway hope the pics do some justice ..

We stayed at the Blue Dolphin last month and I'm not sure we stayed at the same hotel as described by previous contributors. While the hotel is comfortable and the staff are pleasant and helpful (a special shout out to Niki who was very very kind and offered much helpful advice and assistance) there are a couple of negatives. First and foremost, the hotel can only be accessed (at least when we were there) via very steep steps, so anyone with any disability or those who have mobility issues will likely have much difficulty navigating the steep descent to the hotel, even more so when having to climb up the incline when leaving the hotel. Another difficulty is the center of town is quite a walk from the hotel given a steep walk - great walking into town downhill, but rather a strenuous walk uphill - especially on the cobbled streets/pavements. Certainly no need to book time at the gym if you stay here! Another minor point: breakfast is included and it was kindly delivered to our room each morning; though it was fairly basic and was exactly the same each morning. While thankful for the meal, it would have been a nice touch to have changed the ingredients every now and again. Also, I'm not sure if it was due to the off-season or construction, but there was no bar, restaurant, lounge area etc. at the hotel during our stay. Also, during the time of our stay there was ongoing construction in very close proximity to the hotel, literally just feet away from our room, which meant many loud workers and machinery starting work around 7.30am. While I understand the need to do this work in the off-season, it would have been nice for the hotel to have given us notice of the disruption at the time of booking. And, given that donkeys were used to transport heavy material to and from the site, helpful to have given warning to take much care traversing the steep steps that were littered with donkey poop. While our stay was enjoyable and the staff pleasant and helpful, I'm afraid I will look for alternative accommodation when next we return to Santorini.

We stayed here as a family and would definitely recommend it. It is very conveniently located with a bus stop right outside and is seconds away from the main tourist area of Oia. There is also a supermarket next door. The staff were very friendly and helpful and arranged us a taxi to and from the airport and a reasonably priced tour to the hot springs and volcano. They were also quick at responding to our email queries before we travelled. Nothing was too much trouble and there was always someone available to help and answer questions. Rooms are fairly basic but have everything you need and the kitchenette is very useful if you’re trying to keep costs down, allowing you to store and prepare your own food and drinks. We booked breakfast, which was very good value compared to what we saw on restaurant menus in the area, and you could order as much as you liked. The hairdryer was old fashioned so I would recommend packing your own because it took me a while to dry my hair. The food at the restaurant is great and good value compared to many places in Oia. The pool area is welcoming and relaxing, though the pool was very cold in May so we didn’t swim for long! Pool towels are supplied if needed. Well done to everyone at the hotel for making our stay so memorable. We hope to be back.

AMAZING HOLIDAY Went on a delayed honeymoon and had the Deluxe Suite with outdoor heated Jacuzzi I would highly recommend this room. Lots of space, 2 showers, amazing views, great size Hot tub - when they say hot tub they mean heated pool. Room Cleaned daily, breakfast bought to the room (huge selection) and pool cleaned daily. Staff exceptionally friendly, staff at reception couldn't have been more helpful with a call down to reception they would do what they could to help Oia is about a 20-25 min walk however on the way back it is a relatively tough walk up copious amounts of steps and in the dark can be quite tricky, we had to use our phone torches. This is nothing against the hotel as this was our decision to stay outside Oia main area. Two slight negatives were that the people who used the room before us were smokers, when we first walked in their was a faint smell of smoke nothing that made us want to move rooms and also on the balcony there were some left over cigarette butts on the floor. Again a mild inconvenience and these are the only negatives we have so as you can see this really is a great hotel. We would love to visit again Highly recommend booking an evening sunset catamaran cruise with BBQ one of the best days we had was when we did this. Oia is very busy in the evenings so would recommend trying to visit in the morning as well as evening for those 'instagram shots'... although we found it too hard to leave our room of luxury most of the time. Drinks are available at reception, water, beer, prosecco, fizzy drinks etc, local shop is about 10 mins walk but about a 20 min walk back due to steps. We ate in Lefkes one evening food was good slightly overpriced but you will find that in most places in Oia. A remarkable experience overall and would love to come back one day!
