"During this summer art festival, I specifically set aside two days for Shito Tsuda Hikita, and the Yashiya Hotel was love at first sight, providing a wonderful stay. The hotel is located on the main shopping street, just a three-minute walk from the JR station. It's a tangible cultural building, and I was greeted by an elderly gentleman. The quaint entrance and architecture are very charming; the wooden planks creak as you walk through the passageways. I chose a room on the second floor; the shared bathroom and shower were on the first floor, and both were very clean. The food was delicious. Dinner had different main dishes each night, while breakfast was the same. The hotel also has a small restaurant run by a grandmother, and I even met a chef; it seemed like these three were the entire staff. On the first night, we caught a fireworks display. The grandfather reminded me to go see it, and after dinner, we strolled to the beach. The fireworks display was amazing, filled with gasps of amazement. When I checked out, the grandparents saw me off at the door. They even thanked me in Chinese because they had asked where I was from. I hope everyone has the opportunity to visit this small town in Kagawa."
