Sanya Marriott Yalong Bay Resort & Spa Reviews

Booked non smoking room and was arranged to stay at non smoking floor in the 6/F but people were still smoking in the lift lobby and staff don't take any actions. Other guests on the same floor with small kids were running around the corridor shouting early in the morning and 1 girl knocked on our door at 6am and found herself knocking on the wrong door. Service in the restaurant during the buffet, the waiters don't take away your dirty plates.

Fabulous hotel, with beach access, warm pool, beachside restaurants, pool-side bars and lots more. The breakfast with delicious and with plenty of options to select from. I would book again.

Nice place , clean room, the staff wad nice and friendly. Great stay , but more beach lounges needed. From early in the morning, all the loungers were already taken.

Great for the family stay, we love seaside, pools and kids zone. Great breakfast

Our stay was very comfortable and relaxing! The staff were very helpful, the food was delicious, and the beach was incredible! The pool could be refurbished in some areas and a bar at the pool would have been enjoyed had it been open. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Concierge and housekeeping staffs were friendly and helpful. However, the front desk staffs who assisted us with the check-in was not very helpful. As I used my passport number as the booking identification for this trip. they insisted to have a copy of my Chinese ID which I never encountered in any other Marriott bonvoy hotels before. Moreover, during the check-in, we asked about the room availability for additional night. They promised to check and keep us updated on this matter. And we heard no word from them throughout the stay :(

Good hotel, good service, good location

The location and the grounds are beautiful! Right on the beach! You can swim at the beach between the ropes. The swimming pools are heated and clean! It was lovely to swim until 10pm. We were first upgraded to a bigger room but unfortunately the toilet was broken so we were moved to our original bedroom which had everything you need for a comfortable stay. When we had a problem with the AC and the response to fix it was very quick. There was a variety of foods for breakfast, both Chinese and western. Overall it was a lovely stay to relax and enjoy the beach.

I had such an amazing stay at the Sanya Marriott Yalong Bay Resort & Spa. The property is beautiful and clean, the amenities are up-to-date. The hotel has access to a beautiful beach a stones throw away from the hotel. I highly recommend staying here if you’re ever in the area. You’ll be happy you did!

I think it's a very impressive and comfortable trip for me, the scene, the view, the food...everything is rather fabulous to both of us. must like it.

We have been at different hotels in Sanya during the last years but since the time we discovered Marriot Sanya Yalong Bay we were so delighted and since that time we always come back. This time during national holidays it was not the exception on how a fabulous time we have spent during our 4 days stay. All the hotel maintenance is great, we love to spend the day between ocean and pool area and for that Fish bar restaurant is a spot we like a lot, around 6 PM q couple of great foreign singers play some amazing covers. Marriot Yalong Bay never disappoints us!! Special thanks to Leo for being such a great host and to make our stay even much better, thanks Leo for your dedication and so kindness and help during our stay.
