Our stay at the Sanya Marriott Yalong Bay was absolutely fantastic! Stepping out of our room, we were greeted by palm groves and stunning ocean views. The beach had incredibly soft sand, and the pool was clean, uncrowded, and even offered complimentary floats. The breakfast spread was amazing, with a huge variety of options, and the Hainan noodles and freshly squeezed juices were highlights. The staff were attentive and welcoming, our room was spotless, and the bedding was super comfortable. Strolling through the tropical gardens was incredibly relaxing, and it's definitely a perfect spot for families too!

Our first stop on this relaxing Sanya trip was the Sanya Yalong Bay Marriott Resort, and the vacation vibe here was absolutely wonderful! The hotel environment is lovely. The ocean is beautiful, and the sand on the beach is incredibly soft. Watching the sea and feeling the ocean breeze was truly therapeutic. It's a fantastic beach hotel, especially for families with kids. The hotel lobby is on the third floor. Since I was traveling with a child, I requested a quiet room near the elevator. When we checked in around 3 PM that afternoon, our room was already ready. The concierge even kindly upgraded our room to a clean, non-smoking one conveniently located near the elevator.

Traveling with two kids, the hotel upgraded our room, and the view from the room was absolutely stunning, with a panoramic view of the pool and the ocean! The hotel's facilities are relatively new overall, and the staff at all areas, including the restaurant, pool, kids' club, and beach, were incredibly friendly. A special shout-out to the butler service – their response time was super fast, and they even granted us a two-hour late check-out, considering our departure time. There are two small heated outdoor pools, which the kids absolutely loved. The unheated pool was a bit chilly, but once you were swimming, it wasn't cold for adults. Just outside the hotel, there's a lovely beach, and the hotel even provides umbrellas and loungers, making it very comfortable. I researched many hotels in Yalong Bay before, and choosing the Marriott was definitely a wise decision!

The most satisfying hotel from my Sanya trip! It's all about peace and quiet, a true sanctuary compared to the noisy hotels nearby. Lying in the hammock at night watching the stars was so relaxing. The popular swing and spiral staircase are incredibly photogenic, and it's super close to the beach. I have to praise the butler! They proactively added me on WeChat after booking, helped me secure the room type with the best view, and instantly responded to any questions – incredibly thoughtful. The room hygiene was impeccable, and the soundproofing was amazing, making it super easy to stay with kids. The complimentary afternoon tea was both beautiful and delicious, and the lobby air conditioning was very comfortable. My child loved the freshly made omelets at breakfast, and having a food court right outside was incredibly convenient. For its price point in Yalong Bay, the experience is truly top-notch. I'll definitely be back!

We moved from Haitang Bay to Yalong Bay and could really feel the difference here – the sea is much calmer and the temperature is a bit warmer than Haitang Bay. As another Marriott property, this one definitely feels older; it's an established hotel. The breakfast was decent, and the rooms were okay, but the balcony only had two small stools instead of a sofa, which diminished the 'resort' feel a bit. I requested a late checkout with the concierge, and they extended it until 2 PM, but neither of our two rooms was upgraded, and we were given rooms in the furthest corners with limited sea views. On the upside, there were a lot of foreigners, including many tall Russian women. The beach in the afternoon was usually packed with people lounging around, giving it a very European holiday vibe – just make sure to get there early! The Cantonese restaurant was quite good, and as a Marriott Gold member, I got a 20% discount, which was a nice bonus. The only downside was the gym; it's quite small and outdated, and there was a strong paint smell when I went in. If the gym were located upstairs with sea views, it would definitely be a big plus for the hotel.

Before coming here, I compared several hotels near Yalong Bay. Online reviews mentioned that the Marriott was a bit old and dated. However, after arriving, I found it to be very good. The hotel is very large, and with such a big property, the management is clearly mature and time-tested. It's beachfront, with a clean beach, and the ocean is absolutely beautiful, displaying different colors at different times of the day. There are shaded chairs provided by the hotel on the beach, and the hotel has its own pool. There are also water sports available by the sea, making it perfect for a vacation. Breakfast is very generous, with fresh food, and some dishes change daily. I even had Cantonese dishes like beef offal, steamed spare ribs with black bean sauce, and steamed phoenix claws (chicken feet). We told the front desk that we drink a lot of water, and they made sure to send a large quantity of bottled water every day. Deliveries were also very prompt, showing great sincerity. Housekeeping cleaned our room meticulously every day. There were a lot of Russian tourists staying here, and the handsome men and beautiful women were a sight for sore eyes. If you have a good figure, you definitely won't be alone wearing a bikini here! The room has an outdoor balcony with a drying rack, perfect for drying swimsuits and clothes – they'd be dry by the afternoon if washed in the morning. If I get the chance, I'd definitely come back here purely for a vacation, enjoying the sun, sea, sand, and bikinis.

As the first stop of our honeymoon in Sanya, after two months of searching, we finally settled on the Yalong Bay Marriott Hotel. The concierge contacted us two days prior to arrival, and was incredibly attentive throughout our stay, always checking in on how we were doing and if we needed anything. Our flight arrived late, but check-in was seamless. We received a welcome necklace, and our luggage was brought directly to our room, which was a thoughtful touch. The room itself was superb, and even included a minibar! Knowing it was our honeymoon, they meticulously decorated our room; the folded ornaments were adorable! Opening the window, our balcony overlooked the ocean – truly stunning. Since it was close to Christmas, the lobby also featured festive Christmas decorations! During the day, relaxing on the beach with a coconut was incredibly enjoyable and comfortable. The public areas are beautiful and great for photos. The complimentary photoshoot also turned out lovely, and we even paid extra to select more pictures. As for breakfast, we never made it down as we always slept in. Ordering food delivery nearby was very convenient with plenty of options. The few places we ordered from were all excellent – no misses, which made us very happy! We especially loved Qiongzhai Qingbulang (a local dessert). Overall, we were absolutely delighted to visit Sanya and stay at the Marriott. It was an amazing honeymoon!

This was the most comfortable hotel I stayed at in Sanya. Although the facilities are a bit old, they are well-maintained. It's close to the beach, and relaxing on a beach chair by the sea was incredibly pleasant. I ate at the hotel twice, and both the Japanese restaurant and the Cantonese restaurant had great food and a beautiful ambiance. The service was warm and attentive; they proactively asked about my return flight and offered a late check-out, which made our stay feel very special. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Yalong Bay, and I highly recommend it to anyone planning a vacation in Sanya!

We stayed at the hotel for New Year's Day, combining our honeymoon and my husband's birthday celebrations. Overall, the experience was great despite a few minor flaws, making it ideal for couples seeking a tranquil getaway. The hotel's thoughtful service was definitely a highlight of our trip! After informing them in advance about the birthday and honeymoon, our room was beautifully decorated upon check-in, and we even received a lovely mini cake, which really enhanced our travel happiness. The location is also impeccable, just a few minutes' walk to the beach. The sand in Yalong Bay is incredibly fine, and strolling along the shore with the sea breeze was wonderfully relaxing. It's very quiet at night, with fewer activities compared to other hotels, perfect for those who appreciate peace and quiet. Breakfast options were fewer than last year, and the selection wasn't particularly extensive or surprising. We purchased the double seafood BBQ buffet dinner; the seafood ingredients were quite fresh, but the BBQ portions were a bit small, and the flavors were rather ordinary. Most diners were foreign tourists, with very few Chinese guests, so perhaps the suitability of the Chinese-style options could be improved. We ended up going out to eat and also ordered takeout later, which was quite convenient. The overall hotel service is excellent, and the staff are very responsive. The hotel's tropical garden environment is also very picturesque, great for photos. If you don't require a wide variety of dining options and simply want a quiet retreat close to the sea, this place remains an excellent choice.

The most pleasant surprise of this trip was meeting ANNA HE, such a thoughtful and responsible hotel staff member. When we checked in, our original room had a minor issue. As soon as we mentioned it, she proactively asked about our needs and offered to help us switch to a room with better facilities. She was patient and thorough throughout the whole process. During our stay, she would periodically check in on us and meticulously handle all our requests. This genuine dedication to putting guests first is truly rare and commendable. A big thumbs up to ANNA HE!

The service was excellent, and the beach area with its clear water was wonderful. It's a quiet and comfortable environment. The hotel staff were attentive and friendly throughout our stay. The sand on the beach was fine, and the sea was crystal clear and blue. Our deluxe sea-view king room offered an amazing view. The overall hotel environment was quiet and comfortable, and all the facilities were new and worked perfectly.

Every year when I go to Sanya, I always stay at the Yalong Bay Marriott for a few days. Overall, I highly recommend it; the accommodation and environment are both excellent. Our butler, Jill, also provided fantastic service – very thoughtful and attentive. The only minor drawback was at checkout, when the front desk asked if I had taken the laundry bag from the room and then made me wait for a room inspection before I could leave. That's just ridiculous.

The Sanya Yalong Bay Marriott Resort & Spa is incredible value for money! It's right on a soft, sandy beach, perfect for watching the sunrise in the morning and chasing sunsets in the evening – so romantic and relaxing. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the ocean view from the balcony is incredibly therapeutic. Breakfast is fresh and delicious, with the Hainanese rice noodles being particularly authentic. The staff are attentive and respond quickly. It's also close to the commercial street, so dining and shopping are convenient. Our two-night, three-day stay was perfect, we'll definitely be back!
