What an incredible night, it felt like all my previous trips to Sanya were wasted! I've stayed in plenty of five-star hotels around this area, but this was my first time at MGM. I brought my parents to Sanya, hoping they'd enjoy themselves since they're getting on in years, so I booked this full ocean-view suite. They were absolutely thrilled! The large balcony was perfect for photos and watching the sunrise – truly amazing. The service was exceptionally good, especially from Xiao Hu. He took care of us every step of the way, adding me on WeChat the day before to help with arrangements. Before our room was ready, he even arranged a temporary room for my parents to rest in. The suite included breakfast at the beachfront restaurant, and the à la carte options were incredibly exquisite. Originally, only two breakfasts were included, but Xiao Hu helped us get an extra one for free. The hotel also had a lot of lively activities in the evening.

We specifically chose MGM to celebrate my child's 12th birthday, and the hotel really went above and beyond! They prepared a cake, fruit, pastries, coconuts, and even a little lion stuffed animal and a towel cake. It was incredibly thoughtful. We stayed in a poolside room, and the water temperature was perfect; most of the pools are heated, which was great for the kids. The petting zoo was fantastic, my child went multiple times to play with the animals. Overall, MGM is highly recommended for families with children, offering plenty of kids' activities and a lively atmosphere. There are performances in the middle of the pool and a beach bar where you can enjoy the ocean view while listening to music. The service was excellent, and our butler was very warm and attentive. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. All in all, it's a top-tier family-friendly hotel in Sanya. Awesome!

Staying in the Garden Seaview Terrace Room was an excellent experience. The terrace, surrounded by lush greenery yet offering an expansive view of the sea and sky, felt both private and open. The scenery, morning and evening, was picturesque. It's just a two or three-minute walk to the beach, which is incredibly convenient. The heated swimming pool was lovely, and swimming amidst the gardens was a unique pleasure. The room itself was tidy and elegant, and the service was meticulous.

The environment is clean and tidy, and the staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is huge, with two heated pools and a super large main pool, plus a dedicated children's pool. MGM offers a ton of activities, running from morning till night. It's great for families with kids, and for young people, there's the M Show and live performances in the evenings. The breakfast at the various restaurants is also very rich and diverse. I stayed for three nights and barely had to queue for anything. I will definitely choose MGM again next time.

The sea, coconut groves, beach, lawn, pool, and lobby atrium are all incredibly photogenic. The room was clean and bright. Aside from the watersports staff being a bit perfunctory and inconsistent with their explanations about the activities included with our room, making us wait over half an hour with a baby under one year old, everything else was very satisfying.

The hotel environment goes without saying, it's fantastic. The MGM Live beach bar and music performances are both incredibly entertaining. The hotel's nightlife is rich and vibrant, very unique, and unforgettable. The only minor drawback is the breakfast at Haitang restaurant; it's so smoky that you smell like cooking oil after one meal and have to change clothes as soon as you get back to your room. Everything else was very satisfying.

The room was very comfortable, and they provided a crib for the baby, which our child loved. The garden is perfect for kids to play in, and the heated pool was lovely, suitable for children of all ages. They also gave us many thoughtful gifts, like a beautiful little lion toy, sand-digging tools, kids' cutlery, and nail clippers. Next time, we plan to bring the whole family and stay in a suite.

The MGM Hotel has excellent service; the staff are all smiles and very sweet. The water temperature in the pool room was perfect, a bit deeper than the public pool, and very warm. My room faced the public area, so there was no sun in the morning, but it gradually started to get sun after 11 AM. We had the poolside buffet dinner at the hotel and it was pretty good and worth it. They refilled food items promptly, or you could request freshly made dishes, and there was hardly any queue. If you want a good spot to see the show, you need to get there early as they're highly sought after. My kids absolutely loved the pool room and wouldn't get out of the water; they even tried paddleboarding. The milk tea was delicious; I prefer Hong Kong-style and ordered it with less sugar. There are plenty of beach chairs, and in the evening, there's a beach bar where you can listen to music. I'll definitely be back.

An experience that exceeded expectations! This was our first time traveling far with our one-year-old baby, and we booked a sea-view suite. The view was beautiful, and the hotel service was incredibly responsive – they pretty much granted every request. The lobby atrium was also fantastic for photos. While the hotel is a bit older and some facilities are a bit dated, the overall value for money is excellent. Highly recommended!

The room decor is a bit older, but not to an unacceptable degree. It was clean, and as we had a family room, it was spacious. There was even a stroller for the little one. Soundproofing wasn't great though; the sliding door rattled quite a bit when it was windy. The hotel staff brought a fruit platter and were helpful with any issues we had during our stay. Overall, it was good. Considering we had two young children and a lot of luggage, on check-out day, the staff called to ask about our experience and offered a 1 PM late check-out, allowing us to have breakfast and relax a bit longer. Overall good, suitable for young people and slightly older children. The heated pool had long opening hours, so we could enjoy it for a good amount of time.

The hotel boasts beautiful scenery and comprehensive facilities, including a swimming pool and a kids' club, making it very family-friendly. Our room was clean and tidy. Most importantly, the room service was excellent – they went above and beyond to meet our needs, demonstrating great professionalism. They were always one step ahead, anticipating and arranging things for us in advance, which I truly appreciate! 🙏🙏🙏

This hotel booking was quite a saga. My first attempt was for 4 nights, but I was told there was no availability and I'd have to switch rooms mid-stay. So, I tried booking just 2 nights, hoping to extend, but they said only one night was possible, and we'd discuss the rest later. Once I checked in, I found the overall cleanliness to be decent, but the details in the bathroom were lacking. The faucet area wasn't great, and the toilet seat was crooked. There was no electric or automatic flush, it was all very 'basic', which I found quite… well. As for the double beds, the St. Regis Chengdu now has 1.5m beds, but MGM only offers 1.3m! Everything else was okay. Breakfast deserves a shout-out – it was better than other five-star hotels! It just felt like the reservations department's tone and booking process implied they were too busy. I decisively moved to the Marriott next door. Even before I checked in, their concierge had already contacted me and tried to accommodate my needs. The MGM concierge's response speed was so slow, it was almost as if there wasn't one. Plus, when I called, it was always a robot answering. Things did get delivered, but if you didn't articulate your requests perfectly, they wouldn't be met. Perhaps I'm being too detailed, but I hope the hotel takes this feedback seriously! The issue with children's breakfast costing 140 RMB should be changed! Kids are growing up so fast these days! Given MGM's strong background, they probably don't care about these minor reviews! The heated pool was a good temperature, but a bit small and not suitable for swimming. No welcome fruit either!

Our stay in the family sea-view two-bedroom apartment was absolutely perfect. The living room and balcony, facing the endless ocean, became everyone's favorite gathering spot. The amenities were thoughtful, the kitchen fully equipped, and the heated pool was wonderfully comfortable, suitable for all ages. The location was excellent; we were right on the beach, making it super convenient for the kids to rinse off after playing in the sand and water. Daily housekeeping was meticulous, even thoughtfully wiping down the children's toys, which gave us great peace of mind. We'd love to come back again!

MGM Hotel provided excellent service from the moment we walked in. The staff were always smiling and very efficient. They were also incredibly helpful throughout our stay. The hotel's location is fantastic, situated in one of the best spots in Yalong Bay, and the beach is absolutely picturesque. We'll definitely be back for another vacation with our family!
