We booked the family duplex sea-view suite. The room was in a building quite a distance from the lobby, pool, and beach. The first floor had two beds, the second floor was a loft with a sofa, and the third floor had a king-sized bed. Both the first and third floors had balconies, each with a bathtub, but showers were only available on the third floor. The facilities were generally decent, not too old and not too new. It was actually a partial sea-view room, so the angle to see the sea wasn't very wide. The hotel had a lot of guests, and if you went to breakfast late, you might have to queue. Check-in took a bit long. There was only one pool, which felt a bit insufficient. Overall, it was still pretty good, and the butler's service attitude was excellent. I'm not sure why I didn't receive fruit upon check-in, but after mentioning it to the butler, it was delivered to the room a while later. All in all, it's a hotel with pretty good value for money in Haitang Bay.

What truly impressed me most about staying at the Fairmont was its stunning landscape design. Lush tropical vegetation and expansive lawns stretched all the way to the private beach, making every photo opportunity feel like a professional shot. The hotel's winding canals evoked a charming Venetian feel. If you opt for a flower boat photoshoot, the captain will actively work with the photographer to position the boat at the best angles for effortless, beautiful pictures. The hotel grounds are vast. We stayed in Building 3, and our room offered breathtaking views of lush greenery meeting the endless sea and sky. The balcony also featured an oversized bathtub, perfect for soaking while watching the sunset – incredibly relaxing. A special thanks to our butler, KK, who provided meticulous and thoughtful service, always ready to assist and even proactively upgraded us to a sea-view room. The Fairmont's breakfast selection was diverse. My favorite was the durian croissant, crispy and delicious, with a molten durian filling. They also thoughtfully prepared baby food, which was a very nice touch. The hotel offers a wide range of daily family activities, categorized by age groups: 0-3 years and 4-12 years. We participated in the beach exploration, where the coach, an older brother figure, led everyone with flashlights to catch sand crabs on the beach. The children were absolutely thrilled. A photoshoot at the Fairmont is an absolute must! The photographer, 'Brother Cola,' was incredibly professional and excellent at guiding the children, resulting in photos that exceeded our expectations. In the evening, there's a romantic sunset ritual at the pier, and during the 'blue hour,' there's a spectacular iron flower performance by the pool. I heard you can also see the sunrise over the sea from the hotel beach – I definitely need to experience that next time. We chose the Fairmont as the final stop of our trip, and the overall stay was fantastic, offering excellent value for money.

The hotel's location is great, though it's a bit old. Half of buildings five and six were under renovation. The service was still good, pretty much meeting expectations, and the butler was very proactive. Breakfast was decent. The evening rituals, fire dance performance, and pool bubble party were all excellent, and the kids loved them. It's right opposite Wuzhizhou Island, and not far from Atlantis or the duty-free shop, making it great value for money.

Huge thanks to our housekeeper, Xixi, for the amazing service! My kids loved it so much they didn't want to leave after two nights. The room was very spacious, and I was given a corner room with a fantastic view. Xixi also helped us get a complimentary adult breakfast (as my child is over 14) and a late checkout until 2 PM. The room was spotless, the mattress super comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious and served until 11 AM. I highly recommend the Chen Kee Noodles, Spicy Wontons, and the Durian Cheese Pastry. The evening torch dance performance was stunning, and the foreign singer had a wonderful voice. One minor downside is that you can only take photos at the hotel beach, not swim, which was a bit of a letdown. Also, the package included two free buffet dinners for children under 12, and we couldn't exchange them for one adult meal. We were told we'd have to pay the discounted child price of 168 yuan, while an adult meal was 298 yuan. This means two kids' meals would be more than 298 yuan, so not being able to swap them seemed unreasonable. Oh well, the buffet dinner wasn't very good anyway and certainly not worth the price. Luckily, the great performance made up for it.

The cleanliness of this 5-star hotel is unparalleled compared to other guesthouses. The Fairmont was a last-minute decision, and the hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, with indoor and outdoor playgrounds for children, a golf experience area, gym, swimming pool, restaurants, and more. However, for a family trip like ours, we really wish there was a laundry room! The outdoor environment of this estate-style hotel is excellent. Checking in was too cumbersome, but it seems to be a common issue with 5-star hotels; the last time I went to the Shangri-La in Hong Kong and even Atlantis here, I had to wait in line for a long time to check in. The hotel offered many benefits, but we didn't have enough time to experience them. The hotel rooms are laid out in a Z-shape, and all the elevators are at the same entrance, which means you have to walk quite a distance and go around a lot.

Can I just say, my stay at Fairmont this time actually exceeded my expectations! Maybe it's because I've read too many negative reviews online, but I kept seeing all these 'avoid at all costs' posts. However, once I arrived, I actually found it quite good. It just goes to show, lower your expectations and you'll be pleasantly surprised! First, the good points: 1. The service was great! They tried their best to fulfill every request, very genuine! For example, they managed to set up bed guards on three sides for us. And when there wasn't a fruit platter on the second day, my butler, Mr. Conch, specifically went and applied for one for me. He also checked in every morning to ask if we needed anything and if we were comfortable. Compared to other more expensive hotels, the service here is actually top-notch! 2. The hotel is beautiful! Seriously, the style of this hotel is incredibly resort-like, super, super beautiful. It's perfect for photos when the weather is good! The style is very Thai, yet also very Chinese, with a touch of garden aesthetic, but it all blends harmoniously! It even reminded me a bit of Raffles Hainan. 3. Great for families! This point was a pleasant surprise. We booked a family suite that could accommodate four adults and two children. It's perfect for those who need several adults to stay in one place but still want their privacy. The king-size bedroom is on the second floor, and the twin-bedded room is on the first floor, with a small landing in between. Plus, there are lots of things for kids to play with, including a small N+ (similar to a kids' play area). The staff there were very attentive and kept it quite clean. My baby accidentally fell in the ball pit, and a staff member immediately came over to comfort him. 4. Delicious breakfast. The variety in the morning was extensive, and the wontons from Chen Ji Tang Fen were delicious. What I found particularly good was that they have special low-oil, low-salt bread and meals prepared specifically for babies aged 0-5. Of course, it also has some obvious drawbacks. The hotel is too big; I walked over 10,000 steps every day. Also, the family suite, being on the top floor, gets very hot, and I didn't sleep very soundly at night. You might have to wait ten to fifteen minutes when calling for a shuttle! It's not very friendly for those who order takeout; it takes about 20 minutes round trip just to walk from the room to the lobby entrance to pick up food!

The hotel rooms feature a Chinese-inspired design, with a square layout and an open-plan vanity, though water easily splashes into the room. The corridors are breezy and shaded, so even in August, it didn't feel too hot. The hotel is quite large, and you can take a leisurely walk to the beach. We stayed for two days, and it seemed like there was a typhoon, as it rained every night. The beach was quite empty and peaceful. There's only one large swimming pool, and it wasn't crowded. Swim rings are free, and there are small electric surfboards that kids can play with by scanning a QR code. The sunset ceremony is suspended during rain. We had rain during the day we visited, but it stopped by evening, so we got to watch it. It's a very atmospheric and calming experience. If you can't go out, the hotel's indoor children's playground is also spacious and has coin-operated arcade games. You can book hotel activities by scanning a QR code. We booked a few but, quite serendipitously, ended up not participating because we were either at the pool or doing something else. Before leaving, we joined a kite-making activity, and our child kept playing with their kite. Breakfast at the hotel is seated, so even with many people, it felt organized. We booked a travel photoshoot before we left, and it happened to clear up. The lightly edited photos look great, with five free ones and the option to purchase more. Overall, I'm satisfied. It's a hotel suitable for a relaxed, slow-paced stay, haha.

The kids' club and resort train are well-equipped, making it very family-friendly. The hotel shuttle service is available on call, so getting around the large resort is effortless. The hardware is well-maintained, ensuring a very comfortable stay. 🧹 **Hygiene** Hygiene standards are excellent. Public areas are kept immaculately clean. Room cleaning is thorough and meticulous, with no stains or dust in corners. The bedding and towels were dry and odorless. Daily housekeeping replenished supplies promptly, so the room stayed fresh even after several days, providing a reassuring and comfortable stay. 💁 **Service** The entire staff was friendly and courteous, with quick response times. I particularly loved their one-on-one butler service. They were enthusiastic and attentive, confirming our needs even before check-in and responding to messages promptly during our stay. Overall, the stay was excellent. From the moment I arrived, staff were proactive in assisting with luggage to my room and guiding me through check-in. The room was clean, hygienic, and didn't feel damp at all. The soundproofing was also quite good; even with activities outside, it wasn't noisy. Our butler, "XiXi," was exceptionally responsible, proactively guiding and informing me about various matters and activities beforehand. Requests were responded to very promptly.

This hotel is truly unique! Besides the incredible boat experience, they have a packed schedule of activities and cultural performances. The beach is absolutely stunning, and Wuzhizhou Island right across the way makes for fantastic photos. The afternoon tea was also excellent. We spent our days just eating and having fun; the hotel kept us fully entertained. Our butler, Xixi, was incredibly thoughtful. They sent us the activity schedule even before check-in and even helped us get a late check-out on our third day. Definitely worth a return visit!

Highly recommend! The best in Haitang Bay! Our butler Tim was incredibly responsible and attentive! The front desk staff were very friendly. Don't miss the sunset ceremony in the evening, and the fire dance and iron flower performance at night! Breakfast was very healthy! The beach is clean with soft, fine sand! The room was spotless and well-maintained. The gym even has apples! Plenty of drinking water. What more could you ask for at this price?!

We brought our child to Sanya for a vacation at the tail end of the summer holiday and booked four nights at the Fairmont. The Jinzun Garden View room was quite spacious, with two 1.2m beds that could be pushed together, and a large soaking tub on the balcony, which the little one thoroughly enjoyed. The breakfast was truly outstanding; the seafood noodle soup and wontons were very fresh, and the durian croissant was also delicious! The flower boat experience was great, and the service was excellent too. The only minor downside was the limited children's activities; my child couldn't do the coconut tree climbing because they weren't wearing sports shoes. We had butler service upon check-in, and Helen (Hǎiluó)'s service was very attentive. All in all, a very pleasant experience.
