Haitao Bay Homestay is an excellent choice if you are looking to stay in an extremely affordable but clean place in Sanya. This is a Guest House which offers guests clean rooms with private toilets and basic amenities including air conditioning, free wifi, toiletries, towels, hair dryer, toothbrush, shampoo and soap. No complimentary water included but you can buy in the lobby for cheap price. I would recommend this guest house for couples of days while you are doing the touristy day trips, this way you have a place to stay without spending tons of money in a resort that you are not going to enjoy if you are mostly outside exploring the city. The hotel is surrounded by plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars within 10 min or less walking distance.

Stayed here for 5 nights and added two more nights. The location is very convenient. It’s between the beach and the street food and is surrounded by shops, coffee shops and restaurants. Everything is walking distance. The internet is good and the water is strong enough. The best part is the bed because it’s not hard, very comfortable. The sheets are also clean. The owners are very helpful. Will definitely stay here again in the future.

Location is great if you want to be close to the hustle and bustle. But it was very very loud over the New Year period. No cell service or working WiFi

Very convenient location. Bed was soft and water pressure was good. Room was poorly cleaned though. Staying during CNY, perhaps when it’s not peak season the hotel would be cleaner? Room in pictures look more luxurious than the actually room itself.

The room is really clean and location is good away from the noise but 2/3 mins walk to the beach , even though they don’t clean the room throughout the whole stay , and the faucet is dripping water we couldn’t get the water out of the faucet, other than this , it was alright for the price

Great location just off of the beach. They should clean the rooms during the stay. So much sand is tracked in and it was uncomfortable sleeping with sandy sheets. Also fresh towels would be appreciated. Owner was very nice though and accommodating.

Very nice and helpful staff. Cleaned room for the local standards. Good design and room atmosphere. Missing some kettle with coffee or tea envelops, for that price it should have it. The price is good though, but with a better cleaning and a few details like the coffee one I would give my 5 stars

A very nice and friendly place and very well located. I had lost my bike lock and they kindly helped ne secure it.

Great location, close to the beach and all the bars, but far enough away to avoid late-night noise and party-goers. I stayed in the honeymoon room once with the private pool and that was very nice. Stayed another time in a basic room and it was quite moldy and had a peculiar smell. Granted I was here around Chinese New Year, so there weren't many options, but for what I got, this hotel was wildly overpriced considering the quality. However, it's a family run place and the owner was quite nice and they made sure to fill up my private pool after I requested. Would stay here again if I'm in a bind and back in Houhai.
