Top Hotels in Sanya with Spas

It’s a lovely place. All the other comments I agree with. They should repair walkway around pool ( very minor issue but not a good first impression as I first accessed the hotel from the beach). It’s a beautiful hotel. Room comfy/ luxurious as well as outdoor sofa on balcony VERY comfy for relaxing. A complaint: cutting the lawn almost all day on the Sunday from breakfast time all the way into the afternoon. Can you maybe reserve this not for the weekend/ Sunday? Ironically weekend guests spend more to get to Sanya and stay here than a weekday guest. There was also a wedding on the Saturday afternoon and evening ( so noisy on both days). But despite this, incredibly charming place. If the rate was more affordable I would have stayed Friday and Saturday night but only stayed one night due to price for a solo traveller ( hotel is empty)… Thank you for my stay.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There were a lot of options for room service. The pool was great! Unfortunately there were some negatives. My room was close to an AC outlet so it could be noisy when you sit on the balcony. The noise insulation was not great: there were children running around on my corridor so it was difficult to sleep. I could hear every door slam on my floor. It is worth noting that the hotel does not have a beach so the views aree awesome but I couldn't sit on and swim at the beach. Definitely a good hotel for families. Maybe not so much if you want to do things within walking distance from the hotel.

Stayed in a villa with its own pool, so relaxing and comfortable. The hotel was pretty clean. The breakfast buffet had a nice selection of western food, they had nice variety of breads, croissants, cheese, salami, eggs, etc.. and had a nice coffee machine to make lattes and expresso. The beach is just across the street and only takes a few minutes to walk over. The staff was very nice and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Всём здравствуйте! Долго выбирали пляж и отель, остановили свой выбор на Pullman. Сам отель имеет большенство вилл, расположенных на довольно большой территории. Номера всего в двух корпусах. Людей много, но тихо и спокойно. Наш номер был на первом этаже с выходом в бассейн, что очень удобно и рано утром и вечером. Номер большой, терраса, лежачем, пара ступенек и бассейн. Бассейн достаточно большой, плавали на сапе, правда стоя на коленях. Уборка неплохая, горничные чаевые не берут. Завтраки отличные, есть блюда европейской кухни. Отель находится на второй линии, до моря идти минут 15-20. Рядом с отелем есть где покушать, но мы ездили на площадь Ялунбей, там и выбор побогаче, и цены демократичнее. Рекомендую!

Firstly the concierge at the front desk was easy to contact before arriving at the hotel. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary so I asked them to plan ahead whatever they could and they prepared some cake and a romantic bed setup. The front desk clerk was available at most times during the day if we had any questions or requests. The selected villa room was spacious and very comfortable. Room service did a good job daily and they were very understanding. The hotels facilities are pretty great. All maintained well. The location of the hotel is superb for yalong bay, it’s walking distance from the beach. The breakfasts weren’t bad either, and the breakfast time was up until 12:00 which is amazing. This was a fantastic experience and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Sanya for leisure.

Our stay in Pullman Oceanview was just perfect !! 😃😃 Eva was very simpathic and answer all our question (and in English !! what a pleasure !!) The hotel is very nice located, the beach is pleasant and the staff of the beach and the swimming pool is very convenient! As french travelers, we wanted an hotel where we can eat western food and the food was perfect for us during our stay 😍 The breakfast buffet was very cool too for the price, we ate lot of good western things ! I recommend the hotel for all the activities, the location, the sea, the pools, the big rooms, we love it 😍

The hotel is a little dated and you can tell it used to be nice and modern. The rooms could use an update or a little “zhuzh”though. The amenities are good and the grounds are well kept. The staff is also amazing and were helpful whenever I had problems. I do get you’re paying for the Marriott brand but compared to other Marriott owned hotels, this hotel is just ok. A bit underwhelming and overpriced. Breakfast was good with a variety of options from Western to Chinese. The restaurant also had tasty, flavourful food I tried for dinner. Big up to this . I was upgraded to the pool access room which was nice, I had escaped cold Shanghai for a warmer place, ended up not swimming because the pool was a little cold. Wish it was heated( maybe the kiddy pool was). Sanya was unfortunately gloomy and cold so didn’t get a chance to enjoy the ocean. Overall the stay was just okay. Nice if you want easy access to a beach you can actually swim in.

The hotel is very nice and wonderful for a relaxing holiday near the beach. Yalong Bay has a great sandy beach with lots of water sports activities. It is the right place for a quite stay with a family or children. The hotel is also great for a relaxing stay. The breakfast is amazing and the hotel personal is super friendly and helpful. The outdoor swimming pools and gym are another plus of the hotel. I in particular enjoyed the Yoga course with the amazing coach there! If someone is more interested in vibrant night life the Yalong Bay may possibly be too quite there. The bar in the hotel was often closed before the announced closing time. I also felt it was a bit strange that is not allowed to use the pools after 6 pm. Even when I go to swim in the sea at my own risk after 6 pm there came a guard and asked me to leave the water. All this is a typical hotel focused on families with children. Still I enjoyed my stay very much !

I wouldn’t stay here again. It’s not worth it. In my 5+ years of living in China and using Trip.com, this is the first time I’ve ever written a poor review. I should start by saying that the staff are incredibly courteous, just mostly incompetent. Out of the staff, there was only Vito, who was kind and prompt with check-in and follow up. Everyone else who works there of course has a very difficult job, and while they had a few mistakes here and there, I understand that 端午节 can be a very busy time of year. In those cases, the manager Brian was very kind to try and help resolve them. However, overall the hotel has policies in place that are just unacceptable. Firstly, after checking in I was told that there would be a music festival happening right next to the hotel. So for 2 days, I had to listen to nonstop EDM through the afternoon and night. It was so bad that my room would literally vibrate with the music until midnight. If I had been warned of this ahead of time, I would have chosen another place. But instead they chose the sneaky route and did not say anything until I had already paid the deposit and was in the room. So shady. Secondly, Trip.com lists this place as having an “exclusive beach area” but there was nothing of the sort. There IS a path to the beach, but on the way there you will come across a sign that says it is in no way linked to Shangri-La. There are a small amount of beach chairs out there, but again, they say this isn’t their property so I was worried the whole time that I was intruding. In addition, it’s still quite a bit of a walk, so remember to bring all your own things (water, towel, snacks, etc) because getting back to the property will take some time. Also, the area does not permit swimming. That is of course something they cannot control, but if you are hoping to swim in the ocean, this will disappoint you. Thirdly, breakfast was a mess. I am fully aware that things are different over a holiday, but they couldn’t fit everyone in the restaurant so they had to set up an additional “breakfast area” that had about half the choices—and then shove you away in this little crowded ballroom. I learned the second day that there was a patio option with no wait, and I actually had wanted to sit outside anyway, but no one told me this was available. Even then, I had to ask for my own cutlery (they gave me a children’s set), they did not wipe down the tables, and no one paid any attention to me until I finally showed some frustration. Fourth, the place is very much geared towards families. This place has the most “children-friendly” resources out of every Sanya hotel I’ve stayed in, and if you are a parent this is of course great. However, if you are looking for a quiet retreat, I recommend you look somewhere far far away. For my entire stay, I had to deal with screaming kids and their louder-screaming parents (two families got in a screaming match at the pool, and no one did anything except stare). It is definitely something to be aware of when planning your stay. Honestly, I wanted to spend as little time at the property as possible. It was just too frustrating, too loud, too disorganized, and a waste of my money. This place is taking advantage of the name “Shangri-La” to overcharge you.

Wonderful. Had a great stay, very relaxing and chill atmosphere. It wasn’t super crowded. Beach access is incredible and there are a ton of beautiful spaces whether you are on the beach or the resort grounds. There are tons of activities and amenities, and the room was fantastic. Cleaned and restocked with water daily. Food and service were both excellent. Do yourself a favor and check out the spa for a variety of relaxing options. Love it here, will book again.

Before I arrived I am satisfied with the advanced calling for my preferences and it’s nice to add my butler’s Wechat in advance. However, my butler didn’t give me any greetings when I arrived at hotel and the some staff at front desk didn’t have good training when I check in because they didn’t remind me to verify my info and asked me to go back to the lobby to do that when I have arrived my room already actually my room was so far from the lobby!!! At night I found a black spot under my bed and housekeeper said its sesame I’m quite surprised for such big sesame… After I expressed my feelings to the duty mgr Mr. Hensen Feng, he patiently replied me for these terrible experience one by one and he offered me satisfactory solutions and these plans are creditable including the FnB vouchers. I admired that, simultaneously he communicated with his colleagues after my complaints right now and housekeeping department offered me a gift as compensation. As a member of IHG, although my experience was particularly terrible at the beginning of my journey, I stiil admired the mgr s and their high work efficiency and good service attitude .
