Great views from both sides: once to the see side and another one the airport of Sanya. There is a river close to the hotel. It is lovely to sit at night on a balcony and enjoying the nice views. Hospitality and service are great, different choices of food, more Chinese cuisine. Managers are doing great job. Also, there is a shuttle bus between the airport and the hotel. There are restaurants in the hotel, as well as there is a mall with restaurants, pharmacy and go-mart shop. I would come to this hotel again.

The second night I stayed, when I checked in at noon the day before, I told the front desk that it was okay and I repeated the confirmation that I needed to pick up the airport at 7 am the next morning. When I arrived in the lobby the next morning, there was no car and asked the front desk yesterday. Without registration, I don’t understand how the front desk staff treated work the day before. It is a very good and highly recommended hotel. It has a heated swimming pool, a children's playground, and a gym with first-class facilities. The service is also very heart-warming, especially Lu Zhongqi at the front desk, who is very patient. Although we only stayed for three days, the whole family was still reluctant to leave. , I will still choose Sunshine Hotel next time I come to Sanya!

Hotel has a pedestrian crossing right out front. Lots of swimming pool space, and shade under the huts. Lots of swimming floaties, and rings available. Fresh towels. Beach chairs and umbrellas. Outside playground, inside playground. Great holiday program available; sticker art, sand art, baking, bubbles, foam in pool, beading etc... Have a beautiful buffet set up outside (weather dependent) T.V on at breaky time for kids and in the lobby. Train ride, dinosaur car ride. We also got a personal wechat to help with anything (translator). Great service from the team all round.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel despite it only being for one night. The hotel was actually split into two: the hotel building where you find the lobby, restaurants and various amenities, then the hotel room complex across the road - little villa type housing with individual hotel rooms and pretty outdoor pool. The room we stayed in was spacious, if a little dated in terms of room decor. Staff were as supportive and friendly as they could be. But the hotel’s amenities (mainly the gym) were worse than expected. When we asked hotel staff where the gym was, they happily directed us to it (a couple of floors up from the lobby, on a floor that looked like it was going through renovation). It was a small fitness room that was dirty, had non-functional machines (but no word from hotel staff or signage to say not to use the machines that we could see) and no AC. I tried turning on the treadmill, only to see it go from 0-20 with a second (thankfully I wasn’t standing on it!). Bit of a shame. One thing we loved about this hotel, and the room we stayed in was the close proximity to the beach. We could walk there within a minute!

This place is a hidden gem! Check-in only took a few minutes and a doorman carried our luggage for us. The staff members are exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The beach is just across the street from the hotel. The hotel is also a bit farther away from the hustle and bustle on the main beach. Even though we are vegeterians, we had so many options to choose from for breakfast. They had a wide variety of dishes. They have a large, clean swimming pool.
