Rooms are large, swimming pool is very nice with kids pool and adult one, the kids playground in the villa area is terrific, the location is perfect (5 minutes walk to a shopping center with restaurants, 5 minutes walk to beach, 5 minutes walk to a food street with night market). The style is also pretty (white and pink flowers on the hotel walls). Small negative note: the restaurant in hotel (buffet) is a bit expensive even though the wall aquarium is nice and food seems very good quality. An “a la carte” option would be nice for small families that doesn’t especially want to go with expensive buffet. Also no bar in hotel opened after 8pm.

Pros: 1.Very close to the beach! Barely a walk at all! 2. Great for families with small children as there’s a lot of shallow pools good for toddler height 3. Lots of slides. About 5 really good ones for ages 3+ and then some smaller ones for younger kids. Best part is adults can go on the slides too! 4. Good amount of pools and spread out which helps it feel less crowded. Also has a roofed in pool in a cave (great if it rains) 5. Excellent seaside buffet and fun entertainment like magic show, fire dancers etc. 6. Good service and staff add your wechat if you have problems they can speak English 7. Free photo shoot up to 5 pics for every hotel guest. 30 rmb extra for additional photos if wanted. Book 1 day in advance. 8. Lots of activities for kids like climbing frame, pottery making, a small zoo etc 9. Very close to a shopping plaza (across the street). They have traditional Hainan restaurants and even Hagen Das ice cream. Cons: 1. If you don’t have small children you many feel very overwhelmed by the crowds of kids. I’ve stayed at several 5 star hotels but this one feels the most noisy and bustling. Not as peaceful and serene like others. It’s just very crowded and the breakfast buffet gets crowded if you go too late. I highly suggest you don’t choose this hotel if you don’t have children ages 0-10. It’s really catered to that age group. It’s a paradise for kids! 2. Breakfast buffet doesn’t have a lot of western food choices. There are some. Managed to see waffles at some point but compared to other hotels the western food section is less. 3. The layout of the hotel is a bit confusing and hard to navigate but after a day or two it starts to make sense. It’s just like it’s own little busy town. 4. All of the hot tubs were empty and not functioning. Might be a seasonal thing but we like hot tubs even in July. 5. The map of the hotel and activity schedule for kids is only in Chinese. Would me nice if they had a bilingual version to help out foreign guests. Overall, I would recommend you choose this hotel if you’re focused on the pool entertainment for younger kids and safety for kids not quite able to swim as there’s a lot of fun shallow pools and play areas.

Firstly the concierge at the front desk was easy to contact before arriving at the hotel. My wife and I were celebrating our anniversary so I asked them to plan ahead whatever they could and they prepared some cake and a romantic bed setup. The front desk clerk was available at most times during the day if we had any questions or requests. The selected villa room was spacious and very comfortable. Room service did a good job daily and they were very understanding. The hotels facilities are pretty great. All maintained well. The location of the hotel is superb for yalong bay, it’s walking distance from the beach. The breakfasts weren’t bad either, and the breakfast time was up until 12:00 which is amazing. This was a fantastic experience and I’d recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Sanya for leisure.

The beach is just across the street, really close. There are some shops and cheep Chinese food nearby. There is a restaurant nearby 'Seasea' which is awful, don't go there. The room was really clean and nice. The staff was really helpful. Buffet breakfast was pretty delicious. Mostly Chinese food, but it was ok. The water in the sea was clean and really warm in August 2022. I will come back to this hotel!

It was our first time in this hotel and we enjoyed it A LOT! Since you arrive the staff ( even though they can’t speak much English) is really nice. Especially at the desk zhang wen juan was absolutely nice. She shared with us her wechat and could resolve any doubt we have. And also the staff at the entrance of the lobby and the one at the gate. They offer you a boggie car to your room or the beach in one minute. The beach is private ( only 2 minutes away by boggie car) and amazing: with waves and soft sand. The environment of the hotel is beautiful, very green with many plants. You feel you are always alone, not crowded at all even though you see many people in the breakfast. We stayed in a villa room and even though we have a shared pool with other 3 rooms the pool was very big and clean and we were alone always we took a bath. The pool at the hotel is quite nice because you can see the lagoon from it. And in the kids pool they have bubbles from 16-18h. The Chinese restaurant is quite good too. Maybe the breakfast could be improved a bit but anyway you have western and Chinese options, fresh fruit, cheese, noddles… and a patio outside in case you prefer stay outside the dinning room. We loved it and we will come back for sure!!

Had the best stay this resort. The room was amazing, bed a bit hard but not a train smash. My room had a great view. I was glad to find food I could eat during breakfast and thanks for being accommodating to foreigners palette. (Breakfast caters for foreigners). We booked 2 room of luxurious ocean view, the view was absolutely amazing so is the room facilities. Since it is really close to the beach we were able to experience the beach fully! Also, the weather is lovely when we were there. Additionally, the buffet breakfast was what we loved the most! This hotel is really children and per friendly as i know. Jelly, the person who was responsible for our journey helped us 24/7, which was really helpful for us. We got to ask her everything we were not sure. 100% sure we would visit MGM again some day!!

I lived in the third phase of Princess County three years ago and it was very good. I stayed for four nights this time. The daughter-in-law slept on the sofa for four nights and couldn't stand the smell of the bedroom. Then there is the TV. Some rooms may be LCD handles, but we catch up with the projection screen. An interesting hotel experience. In some ways fantastic: great location in Yalong Bay; walking distance to a mall with lots of food options; a couple of big pools; right on the beach; and rooms which have microwaves, fridges and washing machines (much needed for convenient laundry after a few days away). But sadly, other things were lacking: whilst the central swimming pools were open, those around the rooms that give pool access to any ground floor residents were all empty (well, they had about a foot of water in them and weren’t clean - see photo). When I asked why, I was simply told they were decorative. Why build pools and leave them empty? It was so hot that having pool access rooms was an initial draw to staying there. Some of the fittings and fixtures around the hotel felt a bit tired and it could do with a bit of TLC.
