The room is actually a nice mini apartment with bedroom, bathroom and kitchen with good space available. It would need some maintenance work (the shower door does not close well, walls a bit damaged, blind bathroom filter not clean...)
The general cleanliness is good, shame only for the heavy smell of fried food present inside (we did not understand if someone had cooked or if it came from outside, even keeping the windows open it did not go away).
The host welcomed us very kindly speaking good English.
The location is very convenient to reach the central area on foot but it is absolutely not recommended to get there by car.
A few days before arrival we received an email from LovelyStay.com informing us that the historic center is forbidden to tourist cars and suggesting a nearby street where we could park. The street in question is narrow and with very few parking spaces on the side of the road and by setting it on the navigator you cannot find it.
After more than 3 hours looking for a parking space with kilometer-long queues we left the car at the station and paid a taxi to get to the facility (there is also a bus that arrives in the main square). Obviously the traffic congestion is not the fault of those who manage the facility but I think it is necessary to better inform those who have to reach it to avoid inconvenience. Despite having left Lisbon well in advance we missed the entrance to Quinta de Regaleira, which unfortunately we were unable to see, also losing the money for the ticket for 2 people.
