Good, decent hotel. Breakfast choices all ok. Rooms spacey and clean. I had a lot of support from the hotel staff who helpt me out twice(!) because of issues with my rental car and the only good contact with the rental company required Portugese language skills.

Mercure Hotel Sao Paulo Paulista is definitely a place to stay in when visiting the city. It's very cosy, quiet and clean, the staff is super nice and helpful, location is perfect ( most popular atractions are in the walking distance from hotel ). I definitely recommend.

There are too few fitness facilities and the rooms are small. I booked this hotel because of the heated swimming pool, but it is too small and the water is not circulating. I am quite disappointed. I will not stay here again.
