Hotel Teuta

Beautiful hotel and the views are stunning! The hotel is situated on a hill which is an approximately 15 mins from the main promenade. However, the staff are super friendly and the standard of hotel is very high. Would recommend staying here!

We had the best time staying in Hotel Teuta! Upon arrival the staff greeted us with a welcome drink and showed us the amazing view from the breakfast bar. The staff is friendly and kind, and everyone has a warm smile on their face. They were very helpful with their recommendations and they also reserved restaurants for us so we don’t spend on international calls. The cleaners and breakfast staff did a great job, we felt very cared for. The hotel has great views of Sarande, big balconies, a spacious parking lot and lots of free facilities. The location is perfect for going on the most popular beaches by foot, so you save money on parking. Breakfast was very fresh with variety of salty/sweet options. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, perfect for families and couples! We would go back just for the hotel experience to stay more days next time! Location is good, close to the main street with all bars and restaurants, but still very quiet for a good rest, fair size room and bathroom with a good view of the city. We booked a suite with a balcony for four nights, I requested a high floor, but only upon check in was I informed that this type of room (not the cheapest) was located on the first floor. We didn't have water to drink available upon our arrival, reception informed us that they must have forgotten, as well as they don't replace soap and shampoo, the two times it was needed, we had to go to reception to ask, which shouldn't have been necessary. Breakfast is basic and repeated every day, the coffee available is horrible, and when we ordered a coffee from the machine we were told the cost of 1 euro. They also do not have beach towels and no basic amenities in the room such as coffee, cutlery, water, just a minibar full of overpriced products.

The hotel is located off the main artery of the Esplanade, situated on a hill overlooking the city. This gives you a view of the bay of the city. (only the rooms with a view of the sea). The hotel is otherwise clean and quiet. The rooms are small. The breakfast is not recommended. The fried eggs and sausages are cold and tasteless. Attention when checking out. They try to trick you by telling you that you have taken (consumed) drinks from the minibar. This happened to us. Therefore, when you checked in take photos of the minibar (as proof of what was yours!) Of course we refused to pay!!! (We visit several hotels a year (over 20 hotels) but this has never happened to us). The sleep quality of the beds is not good. The beds are hard. The pillows too stiff and uncomfortable. The price-performance ratio is very bad. We have had better and more pleasant hotels for the price paid. All in all, we give the 2 value points for the cleanliness and the view.

The hotel is located on a hill near the bay area with a great view over the city and the sea. When I booked the hotel I thought it was a regular one, but when I arrived I was surprised by the design of the room and the bath and by the great view. I recommend getting a room with sea view for the best experience. The stuff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good.
