The Insignia Hotel, Sarnia, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel

It was nice and clean hotel. Maybe just needs little tlc as there are a few things falling apart. Overall great place if it’s decently priced.

My stay at The Insignia Hotel in Sarnia was outstanding from start to finish. One of the first things I noticed was how fresh and inviting the hotel smelled. The pleasant scents throughout the lobby, hallways, and common areas created a clean, relaxing, and luxurious atmosphere that made a wonderful first impression and remained consistent throughout my stay. The reception staff and every team member I interacted with were exceptional—warm, welcoming, professional, and always happy to help with any questions or requests. They truly made me feel valued as a guest from the moment I arrived. I also want to recognize the housekeeping team for their excellent work. My room was spotless, beautifully maintained, and refreshed to a very high standard each day. Their attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness really stood out. Overall, The Insignia Hotel delivers an exceptional guest experience with outstanding service, immaculate housekeeping, and an incredibly fresh and inviting atmosphere throughout the property. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sarnia and look forward to staying here again!

We stop in Sarnia on our way to Michigan and have stayed at the Four Points previously, but we have a teen boy and need a one bedroom suite and they didn’t have one this year, so we ended up in their Executive Suite. The parking and building entrances are a little bizarre. The hotel restaurant wasn't open around 8pm on a Monday. The front desk staff was a little curt, but mostly fine. The room itself was very clean, very modern, and well appointed. They have L’Occitane products and a Nespresso machine which really did elevate the experience. The pullout couch didn’t come with extra blankets or pillows anywhere obvious in the room. Overall, it’s a decent option if you’re traveling through.

Place was very nice and clean. Only downside is parking and hauling your luggage quite a distance from the entrance. Also you have to carry the luggage up stairs to get to the lobby. Bit of a hassle but otherwise great hotel.

Lovely property, clean rooms and great amenities! Walking distance to local restaurants, which was very convenient!

The staff were friendly and accommodating. The restaurant wasn't open Sunday for dinner but we found a good place near by. Breakfast was excellent. The pool, sauna and hot tub were great. The room was clean. Parking was easy and secure.

Clean, comfortable room with great amenities. View of the river was a nice surprise. Pool area extremely clean.
