Admittedly after having stayed in the delightful Hotel du Lac, Gardone Riviera the night before the Pian del Sole would have to work hard to match up but sadly it wasn't even trying. This was probably the perfect retreat in the 80s - you could see what once was - but no longer. Dated decor is one thing but drab, tired, damaged rooms and bathrooms is not acceptable. We were barely acknowledged when we arrived. Even though we had emailed requesting a table for dinner in their restaurant (an email which we now know why it was ignored) the first we knew they were closed for dinner was when we were handed our key with no eye contact and with a shrug told that the restaurant was closed but plenty of options in town. Not that any suggestions were given. Oh but we could use the pool! In fact there were very few places open. Only bars with snacks. We were saved by a restaurant deciding to open even though their website said they were closed. Breakfast was uninspiring but not a surprise by this point. The young chap who checked us out was cheerier but all too late. Overall impression is of a place that the owners no longer want to run, would like to sell, move on, retire but no-one wants to buy these places. It could be a fabulous boutique hotel in the hills but it needs a lot of work and money spent on it.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel con un cofanetto smartbox. Hotel eccellente sia nei servizi che nelle camere pulitissime sia nel ristorante. Proprietaria squisita e molto disponibile. Bella location anche per la splendida piscina. Lo consiglierei assolutamente e non appena possibile ci torneremo. Bravi a tutto lo staff!!

Una struttura veramente bella e funzionale dove non manca nulla. Spaziose e moderne le camere e i bagni e in generale tutti i locali e gli spazi condivisi. Molto belli anche quelli esterni con piscina e solarium. Personale professionale e gentile. Speciale il ristorante con piatti molto particolari, ben presentati, con prodotti locali a prezzi assolutamente abbordabili. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo speciale. Un'esperienza assolutamente positiva soprattutto se vissuta tramite un pacchetto vacanza regalatoci che, in genere, non offre molto e che spesso, soprattutto nei WE, non accetta non viene accettato o vuole un surplus spesso anche esoso. Hanno accettato il nostro pacchetto senza indugi e senza sorprese. Ottimo per ciclisti in quanto sono adeguatamente attrezzati.

Bella struttura, camere spaziose, ben illuminate, dotate di cassaforte. Balcone per ogni stanza. Ascensore, parcheggio privato e piscina ( mesi estivi ). Personale molto gentile. Ottima cucina. Si raggiunge tranquillamente il centro di Sassello a piedi.

Tutto molto perfetto,dal personale alla pulizia... Un po distante dal mare,certo ma completo relax. Non siamo riusciti ad usufruire della piscina,pulitissima e con idromassaggio...peccato la giornata non era delle migliori. Mare a circa 1/2 ora di auto,cmq raggiungibilissimo. Mi ripeto,pulizie ad hoc ( la doccia sembrava nuova,nemmeno un po di calcare sul fondo della struttura) asciugamani profumatissimi,lenzuola candide (ho utlizzato la mia lampada UV,pulito al 100%) complimenti. Anche il prato tutto attorno all'hotel...curatissimo e VERO ... veri complimenti!!

Ci siamo fermati casualmente passando da Sassello (deviazione causa autostrada bloccata) ed é stata una piacevolissima sorpresa! Personale gentilissimo e piatti più che succulenti con un'ampia scelta tra piatti di carne e piatti di pesce. Ci sono anche piatti per veri goduriosi come il fritto misto piemontese (veramente spettacolare!). Prezzi più che onesti, ci torneremo!
