Spent a week on half board here for skiing. It is in a great location very close to the clothes chair lift. The food was in the main very good and was prepared and presented in typical Italian fashion.A salad buffet followed by a pasta course and then a meat or fish course finished with a good choice of deserts. The service was very good with a good selection of Italian wines from 20 euros a bottle which seemed reasonable. The rooms are very dated with large wooden furniture and headboard with a top shelf that makes it impossible to sit up and relax on the bed. Space was tight but manageable The bathroom although dated had a fantastic shower. House keeping was regular and we never went without clean towels. Given the cost of the spa we never used it!20 euros each per day is far too expensive. We have stayed at numerous Italian hotels where a weekly rate was a lot lower. Although the reception staff are friendly the hotel "vibe" is slightly over the top with rules and regulations dotted all over the place and in your room. They still had the COVID perspex screens up in reception and in the bar. We had one drink in the bar on the first night and never went back. Our room was on the front overlooking Via Clotes ,it had great views over the town but suffered from noise when the bars closed this went on till the early hours. Overall the hotel was ok but lacked any real Italian flair or style. We thought it as adequate

If there was an award for the worst customer service, this hotel would win hands down. From the moment we arrived, the staff made it clear that guests were more of an inconvenience than anything else. Requests were ignored, complaints were dismissed, and any interaction felt like we were being scolded rather than served. The most absurd moment? They actually fabricated a noise complaint against our group, claiming other guests had been disturbed in the restaurant—despite the fact that we weren’t being loud at all. Instead of creating a welcoming atmosphere, the staff seemed determined to make our stay as unpleasant as possible. Service was nonexistent when we needed help. One of our rooms was freezing, and despite multiple requests, they did absolutely nothing to fix it. Another guest in our group had a generator roaring outside his window and was basically told to deal with it. And when we checked out, one of our friends, wasn’t even allowed to sit in the reception area while waiting—she was told to leave the hotel entirely. Even the children weren’t spared. They were accused of stealing simply for placing something in a pool table pocket, asking for ice cubes, or requesting the correct number of foosball balls. To top it all off, on the day of departure, they demanded €10 per person just to take a shower after skiing. The only good thing? The short walk to the ski lift. But unless you enjoy being treated like a nuisance, do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

We stayed at Hotel Savoia Debili for our ski holiday this winter. The staff was so friendly and obliging, and we had a lot of fun with the waiters in the resturant during our stay. The rooms were a bit small, but it was fine, because there were a lot of common areas with plenty of space and activities, which was perfect for us! It was about 100 metres from the lift, uphill though, but it took no more than 5 minutes. The hotel was just in the middle of the very charming city of Sauze d'Oulx. My very best recommendations if you want a ski holiday with an authentic feeling and italian charm

Old fashioned charming hotel with friendly staff This hotel was very comfortable to stay in with friendly and accommodating staff. The included breakfast was fine, not sure about the dinners as we chose to eat out. The room was clean and very comfortable for the week. Pool table, ping pong and table football all well appreciated by the teens we had on the ski trip. Easy to walk to Clotes lift and you are right in the village. Bring ear plugs for party nights in the town - but we only heard noise on 1-2 nights and it wasn't bad. Good skis and boots room for kit.

The staff were exceedingly rude, DONT STAY HERE. The staff rang in the morning and tried to kick us out on our 2nd night and threatened to call the police, they said, " you are bad people, I will call the police, or you can come in my van and stay in my annex, you must leave now back your bags or I am calling the police". This was repeated multiple times. It was really werid and creepy and inappropriate. This was because we came in late one night after losing one of our phones, note the night porter didn't say we were too noisy and the hotel is next to multiple clubs/ bars that stay open until 4am. My partner then went downstairs to speak to the manager who then quickly changed his tone and said we didn't need to leave. The manager did say, " English people don't know how to drink they can't handle alcohol". The manager was really inappropriate and it really ruined the hotel experience it was really awkward from then on. The staff were really unprofessional, also one member never wore his mask but then would come and tap you on the shoulder and tell you to were a mask while he was not wearing one and he was invading personal space. There was no wifi free or paid for. There are many other hotels which I would recommend over this one. The bed was really uncomfortable and the hotel was really noisy, ironic considering we were told we were the noise problem. Two nights we got no sleep due to the noise. Breakfast is bad. Also cleaning staff would come in and try and clean while you were trying to get ready for day of skiing. We would say dont worry about it and they would ignore you. Also you dont get new towels for the whole week.

Come in famiglia!
