DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Savannah Historic District

I like most of the doubletree hotels, but this one was better than most.

Overall satisfying: in historical district, near river and all pubs, while the AC is too noisy that I cannot fall asleep

You have to pay to park, either on the street or valet they said $48 but was charged $61.50 , breakfast $20/person, ice and soda machine out on 3rd floor, they have coffee but by 9am it’s gone, bathroom sink stopped up, the bed was ok, the pillows are nasty and horrible.

The property was neatly clean, accessible to alot of things and the staff was excellent! I enjoyed my stay I will be back!

Honestly super disappointed. The elevator was ancient and scary. The staff was. It friendly and didn’t seem happy to be there. The price did not equal the value. Only plus was location. At night there was super loud music playing somewhere nearby. Like a DJ playing until 2am.

What a pleasant find! Hotel was in walking distance to everything that we wanted to do. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the pool was refreshing. Hot tub needs resurfacing, the bench seats are rough; though there was no damage to my suit. We really appreciated the bag check and being able to leave our car parked till 12:30. I'd absolutely stay here again hopefully for a longer stay.

Staff was very friendly and hotel overall was nice. Only downfall was being on busy street side. Lots of noise from dawn to dusk.

Perfect location. Trolley stop right outside hotel. Staff nice to provide umbrella. No maid service provided. Pool area could have had a few umbrellas and more reclining chairs.
