Did not get the room we booked when we complained we were told the room was unavailable because the elderly gent who was in the room had decided to stay an extra night. Not our problem we are an elderly couple who had paid for the room expecting to get what we had paid for. The TV in the room we were given did not work properly if you tried to change channel it switched off and you couldn't change volume so was very hard to hear anything. Will not be back customer service was non existent nobody seemed to have the authority to do anything without speaking to the owner. Anybody looking for a place to stay should look elsewhere.

I would give this hotel 2 out of 5 stars. It was a really nice hotel and the location was good. However they wanted to charge us for 2 rooms even though we had a toddler (who co-sleeps with us) so I said it was only 2 adults. My toddler was subsequently sick on the bed as she had a nasty sickness bug and the hotel management advised 'it happens and was okay' and nothing more. Upon checkout we were charged £70 for a whole new duvet! They advised that they will simply replace everything I am surprised they are still in business. This never happens, they will wash the duvet and it will be absorbed into the business cost. What kind of hoteliers does not know how to wash out toddler vomit! We were forced to pay this service charge without any proof! £70 is absolutely ridiculous. I feel they were that they were bitter about us not adding my toddler to the booking so they got the money another way. Breakfast was not worth it unless included in the stay price.

We were greeted in a friendly manner, and talked through the parking permit. The room was lovely, clean and a great size - especially for the price! We stopped for 1 drink before walking out into Scarborough for food and drinks. A great place in a good location and I would definitely stay there again.

What a great find, such a lovely place to stay . The hotel is very clean and welcoming. Our room was really nice, lovely comfy bed and quiet too. The breakfasts are really good, probably the best we have had in any hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Will definitely recommend and we will return as it was so nice.

Booked 2 rooms on the the same day we was travelling. On arrival was greeted and taken to our rooms. Big spacious room,and very clean. Great value for money,and will definitely stay again next time we are in Scarborough. Great location close to centre,and beach.

Visited for breakfast and it was superb. There was 7 of us and we all chose something different and thoroughly enjoyed what we'd ordered. The complimentary porridge brulee was excellent. Fabulous and friendly staff. We will definitely be back.
