The hotel is located in the Meili Snow Mountain National Park, facing the Feilaisi viewing platform, which gives the hotel the best angle to enjoy the Mountain View. There are 20 rooms in hotel, all facing the Meili mountain. The big glass windows make all the guests enjoy the spectacular Mountain View easily. There is a restaurant and a coffee house in hotel. There is buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner are also supplied during 12:00-21:30. Guests can enjoy coffee, wine, and deserts etc. in coffee house during 10:00-22:00. Outside the coffee house, there is a big platform on which guests can enjoy the first glory sunshine on the golden mountain Meili.

"This hotel is absolutely fantastic! The location is super convenient, right downstairs from Feilai Temple Snack Street, making it incredibly easy to go out and eat. I highly recommend a stall run by an 'A-jie' (older sister) – their yak meat skewers are absolutely delicious, the best I had in all of Shangri-La. I couldn't find anything as good later in Lijiang. I forgot the name of the place, but when you go there, they'll give you a complimentary cup of butter tea. Seriously, you have to check it out! I think it's the one that has a 'buy a few skewers, get a few free' deal, and the 'A-jie' is a local. The second-floor room I booked had a slight obstruction of the snow mountain view. I'd suggest that friends with a sufficient budget go straight for the fourth-floor snow view rooms – the view there is definitely amazing. I actually compared many hotels, like Bo X Jiang X or Snow Mountain Xing X, etc., and ultimately chose this one. I feel the overall experience here was top-notch. Some hotels, while having decent views, had rather poor room facilities, so this was the best after my comprehensive comparison. The underfloor heating in the room was incredibly powerful. Even though it was freezing cold outside, it was warm enough to wear a short-sleeved shirt indoors, which was super comfortable. You absolutely must visit the coffee shop on the hotel's top floor. The Meili milk tastes superb, and the accompanying butter tea is even more fragrant and mellow. In the morning, you can watch the 'sunlight on golden mountains' here with an unobstructed view – the scenery is breathtaking! After enjoying the snow view, having a warm cup of ginger tea is both warming and comforting. The experience is truly next-level, highly recommended! The complimentary breakfast's rice noodles were so delicious. More importantly, all the hotel staff were incredibly enthusiastic. After returning from sightseeing and heading up to my room, the front desk lady invited me to try on their ******* clothing, all free of charge. They looked ordinary at first, but I actually took some really beautiful photos at the hotel. It was truly wonderful~"

"Underfloor heating! Humidifier! Oxygen concentrator! Huge TV!!! All provided. The location is within the ancient town, making dining convenient, and it's very close to Guishan Park, which is a great place for an evening stroll after dinner. They offer complimentary fruit and snacks upon check-in, which is a thoughtful touch. Both the mattress and pillows are latex. The bath towels and regular towels are disposable, which is very hygienic. The owner is warm and hospitable, constantly busy, even picking us up and dropping us off at the airport. A fantastic experience overall!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is perfectly situated in town, offering breathtaking views right from our room (for sunset and sunrise see photos). The location alone makes it a fantastic choice for anyone looking to enjoy the natural beauty of the area. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel very welcome. The owner even parked our car right in front of the hotel. Even though we don’t speak Chinese, communication was smooth thanks to a translation app. Their hospitality truly stood out, and we appreciated their warm and accommodating attitude. The only downside was that our room was quite cold until the heating started working in the evening. Overall, despite this small issue, we really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a scenic and welcoming place to stay in the Meili Snow Mountains!"

"The quality of a hotel is judged not only by its service during smooth times, but also by its attitude when problems arise. During my stay, we experienced unstable voltage, but the hotel's handling of the situation was exemplary! From the speed of response and efficiency in resolving the issue to the sincere communication, everything was impeccable. Minor imperfections in the facilities are inevitable, but such attentive and considerate service is rare. Kudos to their professionalism and sincerity! (The unstable voltage caused elevator malfunctions, and the staff proactively helped everyone in each room with their luggage.)"

"Nestled in Deqin Feilai Temple at an altitude of over 3,400 meters, ”Meet Meili Yangqia別院” is a newly opened guesthouse in 2025. In a short time, it has earned our full praise thanks to its unique ******* aesthetic design, comprehensive modern facilities, and the hosts' meticulous service. For travelers planning a pilgrimage to Meili Snow Mountain, this isn't just a place to rest; it's the beginning of a warm journey. The guesthouse's most commendable feature is its exquisitely designed all-solid-wood interior in a ******* style. From the handcrafted carved railings and wooden floors to the Thangkas and ******* furniture displayed in the common areas, every corner reflects the hosts' dedication. Its decor ”far surpasses other places costing over 1000 yuan.” While preserving ethnic charm, the rooms are equipped with a full range of modern smart facilities: whole-house smart control, smart curtains, smart toilets, diffuse oxygen supply systems, and whole-house underfloor heating. In high-altitude regions, the underfloor heating and oxygen supply were absolute ”lifesavers” for us. The owners, a local ******* couple, left a deep impression on all six of us with their warmth and authenticity. Their service was incredibly thoughtful, going far beyond what you'd expect from a typical guesthouse. Transportation is hassle-free: they offer complimentary pick-up and drop-off services, whether it's from the bus stop or round trips to the Feilai Temple observation deck in the morning and evening – just a phone call away. At the foot of the sacred mountain, a good guesthouse is not just a stopover; it's a window into the local warmth and culture. ”Meet Meili Yangqia別院”, with its wood, carpets, oxygen, and smiles, weaves a memorable tale of snow-capped mountains and warmth for weary travelers."

The Cat in Yubeng Snow Mountain View Guesthouse provides a great place for travelers to relax after a busy day. Visitors to Deqin will find that the Cat in Yubeng Snow Mountain View Guesthouse is a fantastic accommodation choice. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Yubeng Lower Village, Yubeng Village and Yubeng Scenic Area - Observation Deck all nearby. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Deqin hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for groups of friends traveling together.

"The hotel owners, who seemed to be a family, were incredibly warm and welcoming. When we arrived, the Xidang road was under construction, requiring a 10-kilometer hike along the Ninong trail to reach the village. Even though we hadn't informed them in advance, the owners had already turned on the underfloor heating for us and even gave us small gifts, which made my friends very happy. **Pros:** ① Due to its elevated location, there are no other hotels nearby, so the room offers fantastic views and is incredibly secluded. ② The room came with a foot bath basin and complimentary foot soak packets. After a long day of hiking, it was a real treat to come back and enjoy a free foot soak. Other places in the village charged 30 for a foot soak, but honestly, we just didn't want to move anymore. ③ The hotel lobby offered free ginger tea brewed daily. We could gather around the fireplace, chat, and drink ginger tea every evening. The hotel also sold drinks and instant noodles, and the prices for meals were essentially the same as in the village. ④ The service was excellent. Three of us stayed in a family room, so two shared a bed. When we asked for an extra blanket at night, it was delivered very quickly. Sometimes, when we left early in the morning and returned late, the owners would even bring us foot soak packets and water. ⑤ The hotel has several adorable cats, though they usually hang out downstairs by the fireplace. They're very friendly and love being petted. **Minor Drawbacks:** ① The location is on the edge of the upper village, about a ten-minute walk from the village center. However, this also means it's very quiet and peaceful for resting, without any noise. ② The hot water might be solar-powered? One day I was too lazy and took a shower very late. By then, the temperature outside was already below freezing, and the water wasn't as hot. So, it's best to shower earlier."

"I rarely write reviews on Ctrip; usually, I only do so when something is exceptionally good or so terribly bad that I can't tolerate it. This hotel falls into the former category—it's exceptionally, exceptionally good. The views go without saying, there are tons of pictures online. The photos below were all taken from the hotel's rooftop. What I really want to praise is the hotel's service. When I was suffering from severe altitude sickness, a lady from the hotel proactively drove me to the hospital. She waited for us throughout the check-up and then drove us back. All subsequent services during our stay were also excellent. Knowing I had altitude sickness, they provided an extra oxygen concentrator when the central oxygen supply wasn't available, and their concentrator was much better. The night before, I also experienced altitude sickness in Shangri-La, but the oxygen concentrator at the Shangri-La hotel was very ineffective; even with the nasal cannula, it didn't help much. The oxygen concentrator at Waking Up to Snow Mountain, however, as soon as it was turned on, I could clearly feel the oxygen flow and concentration were much better than at the Shangri-La hotel. In short, I'm truly grateful to the staff; thanks to them, I was able to endure and successfully see the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' before descending. Originally, I had booked the 'Guijing Tiantang' (Viewing Paradise), but since it's on a hillside, I was worried about not being able to climb due to altitude sickness. So, after much consideration, I chose Waking Up to Snow Mountain. Now, I'm incredibly glad I made that decision because due to altitude sickness, I didn't even have the strength to walk from Waking Up to Snow Mountain to the Feilai Temple viewing platform. All the sights I saw were from my room and the hotel rooftop. I also ate at the hotel's own restaurant, and the dishes we ordered were all delicious. I hope everyone can avoid altitude sickness and enjoy the 'Golden Mountain Bathed in Sunlight' in good health and happiness!"

"I spent just one night here, making a side trip from Shangri-La to catch the sunrise over Kawagarbo peak at Meili Snow Mountain. The room was small but comfortable—perfect for one person. The electric blankets kept me warm and toasty in the freezing weather, especially since the room heater (an A/C unit) was quite small and took a while to heat up the space. The location was ideal. It’s only a 5-min. walk to Feilaisi Monastery, which made it easy to reach the Feilai Temple Viewing Platform. The Meili Snow Mountain National Park Scenic Area lookout point is about a 15-min. slow walk away, in a more touristy area where you’ll also find street food and restaurants. Breakfast is served at the small onsite restaurant. I enjoyed a bowl of vermicelli soup and a cup of hot soy milk. You can choose from several noodle options, and there were dumplings on the side as well. When I checked out early in the morning, it was snowing, and visibility was poor. The owner noticed the foggy weather and kindly offered to let me return to my room if I changed my mind about exploring and preferred to rest instead. I really appreciated the thoughtfulness and consideration. Overall, I had a good stay here."

"Perhaps it's an age thing, but these days I find myself drawn to 'nostalgia' when choosing a hotel. I'm always fascinated by hotels that have stood the test of time. Among the many guesthouses in Feilai Temple with prime views, I followed my gut and picked this long-established and renowned one. To be honest, its location is slightly less impressive compared to the newer guesthouses with front-row views. However, when I think back to over a decade ago, when these new guesthouses were nowhere to be seen, this hotel was already here and was considered the best at the time. Thinking about it this way, I felt a sense of empathy and accepted the hotel's current state. The room facilities are like 'old trees sprouting new leaves' – excellent. The modernization is very well done, especially the bathtub area, which brought a smile to my face when I saw it. The staff were all very good and friendly. They were very accommodating to reasonable requests, and I'm very grateful for that. While the breakfast wasn't extensive, everything was delicious, which is what truly matters."
