"This hotel was AMAZING! The place is beautiful, the room is stunning and has everything you need - the bathtub was so lovely and relaxing. They provided us with all the amenities you need and it was the perfect weekend! The location is great, and the staff were incredible- so attentive and did everything they could to make sure we had the best time. It was the BEST weekend away and I have zero complaints and I would recommend this place to anyone!! Plus the food was delicious and the KTV room was a great addition!"

"Our room at Starlight Courtyard was spotless and incredibly comfortable. It's perfect for stargazing on clear nights and enjoying the sound of the rain on wet days. They also offer various entertainment options, including billiards, KTV (karaoke), and a dedicated card/board game room. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming, providing attentive service and offering great tips for local sightseeing. We even had a pleasant chat over tea with them. Overall, we had a fantastic stay!"

"Superb stay, in a perfect location amidst a bamboo forest, far from the crowds and making you feel fully relaxed and comfortable. The vibe at the house is super cozy, the place is extremely clean and beautifully decorated, with warm colors and a home-vibe all around. Ernest and his team were super supportive since the first moment of the reservation and assisted us immediately through WeChat if any question. We also enjoyed their exquisite Chinese local dinner set; it was tasty and fresh! The breakfast is also very delicious. Finally, the bedroom was really amazing, with one of the best views I’ve had in a countryside hotel by far; just spectacular to relax and get a perfect getaway from the city. We will definitely come back and recommend it to our friends. Thanks for all Ernest!!!"

"Lovely accomodation. The overall service was warm and friendly. The eggplant parmesan was my favorite dish as well as fresh juice. The room looked just like the pictures. They do seem to need a bit more staff to cook and serve when the dining area gets busy. Pre-ordering meals doesn't necessarily mean that all food will be ready at once. Our friends had about 40 minutes wait between dishes. Also, the first morning, breakfast was served beuatifully. The second morning, we had to inquire about different parts of our breakfast since it was not all served at once. Overall, very kind service with a smile. The welcome fruit was a nice touch."

"We really did not choose the wrong place. This holiday villa has complete facilities. It not only has a chess and card area, but also billiards and KTV. It feels like it has everything you need. It is so fun to invite a bunch of friends to come here for vacation!"

"This was my second time staying at this hotel, and I’m already planning to return in October. What I love most about this place is its stunning location — nestled against the mountains and surrounded by peaceful bamboo forests. The view is simply breathtaking. The hotel offers excellent facilities, including a spring water bath, swimming pool, tea lounge, and a cozy restaurant serving delicious meals. The rooms and shared areas were clean and well-maintained. Most of all, the staff were incredibly kind and helpful throughout my stay. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful, relaxing weekend — a true escape into nature and tranquility."

"I booked this B&B after reading online recommendations. It felt good to stay there for 3 days and 2 nights. The overall decoration of the B&B has a sense of design. The interior decoration style is elegant and generous. The wooden furniture, lamps and other decorations in the room are in harmony with the interior decoration style. The sanitary ware is ROCA, and the washing supplies are L'Occitane, both of which are my personal favorite brands. The most important thing is that the room is clean and hygienic, the breakfast tastes good and the presentation is exquisite. Then there are the housekeepers who are serious and responsible, enthusiastic, polite and very measured. Thanks to the housekeeper for upgrading to the Loft Mountain View Room, which made our family of three's stay more comfortable, and also gave us tea from our own tea garden as a souvenir."

"What a beautiful place to break away from the noise of everyday life! The entire camp has such a calm, serene, almost zen-like atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, everything felt peaceful and well thought out. The design and layout of the place are stunning. There’s bamboo growing everywhere, adding to the natural, tranquil vibe. The cabins themselves are pretty modern and clean. The staff we interacted with was incredibly kind, friendly, and genuinely helpful - even though there was a language barrier. Whether we needed a ride somewhere around the camp (which was always available thanks to staff driving around regularly) or had a question, they were always happy to assist. Adding reception on WhatsApp made things even easier – they responded quickly to any requests we had. The food was amazing. We especially loved the Chinese restaurant – every dish we tried was full of flavor. There’s a communal pool and other fun activities like paddling, which unfortunately we couldn’t enjoy due to the weather. Still, it’s nice to know they’re available. There’s also a small animal park where one can see peacocks, goats, chickens and ducks. It’s also nice to just walk around the camp. The views are just gorgeous, and the whole environment encourages you to relax and slow down. All in all, it’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and just enjoy some peace and the beauty of nature. One small downside was that there was only one coffee machine available at breakfast, which led to a long line. We ended up buying coffee, which was a bit inconvenient—especially since we could’ve had coffee for free. 🤭 I highly recommended Elephant and Moon! Would love to visit again!"

"Let me summarize first: super five stars! Great! First of all, when you come to Moganshan, you want to live in the mountain forest. It is completely surrounded by layers of bamboo forests and woods, a secret place to hide from the world! Moreover, you can make a reservation one day in advance to drive into the mountains, so that you can have fun driving around the mountains in the evening, which is cool and saves effort! The first choice for raising children! Secondly, the service is absolutely superb! I stayed in so many homestays that I developed a bit of PTSD. The owner of this restaurant is a great communicator. He contacted me in advance to purchase tickets and routes up the mountain, and also provided answers to various difficult questions (for example, I, a player who has never lost my way, asked for help when I got lost). There was a thunderstorm in the evening, and the boss sent a housekeeper to pick him up with an umbrella. It was so embarrassing. The group of people walked through the mountains and forests and met a cute big frog🐸. Again, when it comes to facilities, it’s really the ceiling, the decoration aesthetic is great, the shower water pressure is great, and the most noteworthy thing is that the mattress is very supportive! I, a contestant who had to sleep on a hard bed after surgery, actually slept quite comfortably throughout the night! The mattress is a bit expensive, so I secretly asked the boss for 3W customization, otherwise I would have to take it home in a minute, hahaha! Finally, the location is great and the views are amazing. The location is 300 meters away from Chairman Mao's hotel. As soon as you open your eyes, the room is filled with green, colorful green! The depth of field is also from far to medium to near, which is really rare on Mogan Mountain (I also concluded this after checking in at every beautiful place around the mountain). I hope I can come to Moganshan again next season and come here~"

"The hotel is on the mountain, so the view is awesome. The host was helpful and polite. Hot springs were very beautiful and I enjoyed my bathing there. The room was very clean, there was everything inside. I liked to eat my breakfast on the terrace with mountains view. Could even see the sunset there in the evening."
