"Overall, a great experience. The doorman and bellhop at the entrance were very attentive and helpful! The only minor drawback was the buffet experience. When I called from room 7777, the operator was very unfriendly. I then went up to check it out myself. The hostess there looked annoyed and impatient. Since I was just trying to preview the environment, I didn't expect to feel like I was being 'kicked out.' It was quite awkward. However, since I had already purchased a 5-person pass that couldn't be refunded, the whole process wasn't very pleasant. On a positive note, I'd like to commend the customer service team; their service was very thoughtful and meticulous."

Cleanliness: The hygiene is excellent, and the bedding quality is superb. The room even comes equipped with a full set of L'Occitane toiletries – shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion, which is a lifesaver in autumn and winter. Plus, there's bath salt for a relaxing soak, which is fantastic. Environment: The hotel has its own outdoor courtyard. It's incredibly comfortable to relax in the sun there when the weather's nice. Service: The service is warm and attentive, always meeting requests promptly. Highly commendable. I'll definitely be staying here again."

"Zhongshan Xizi Lake Hotel is a truly unique hotel, highly recommended to all friends visiting Hangzhou! The hotel perfectly blends Song Dynasty culture with modern intelligence. As soon as you step in, you're captivated by the elegant ambiance of the lobby. The rooms are not only beautifully decorated but also boast high-end amenities (like Dyson hairdryers and smart toilets). Plus, breakfast is served at the Yunqi 17° Lake View Restaurant, where you can enjoy the lake view while eating – it's pure bliss. The service is also top-notch. The front desk staff are incredibly friendly and even helped upgrade my room type, which was a wonderful surprise! The hotel's robot delivery service for meals is also a fun touch. And the location couldn't be better – it's just a stone's throw away from West Lake and major shopping districts. Although the air conditioning made a slight sound, it didn't affect the overall comfort at all. This was a fantastic stay, and I will definitely be back again!"

"Honestly, the hotel's service attitude was really good; they immediately resolved any issues we had. That's definitely worth praising, especially the front desk staff today, who were incredibly thoughtful. However, there was a slight discrepancy between the hotel's booking photos and the actual room. We were a group of four and booked a 4-person suite. Based on the pictures, I thought it would be two bedrooms and a living room. To my surprise, upon checking in, I found it was one bedroom with the other bed made up from the living room sofa. This really threw me off; I was very unhappy and felt deceived. But since it was New Year's Eve, finding another place at short notice would have been difficult. After we brought up the issue to the hotel, they immediately sent up a lot of fruit and a bottle of red wine. Their service attitude truly is impeccable, so I'd say it balances out. Also, the hotel should really take some time to fix the peeling paint in the bathroom. I originally booked this room specifically because of your pictures. So, out of a five-star rating, four stars are for your excellent service. Keep up the good work!"

"Definitely a hotel I would book again. The location is fantastic - right on the lake, surrounded by shopping centres and streets lined with stalls. Food choices are plenty. The hotel staff are kind and helpful - always ready with a greeting, a smile and offer to help if needed. The hotel offers a range of extras such as car bookings and tours if you need them. They even offer a wheelchair to use, you just need to let them know in advance and leave a refundable deposit. We booked the connected room. The room was themed and well equiped with children's amenities. It was clean and spacious, and the attendant always made sure we always had water and clean towels. There is a coffee machine at the lift area which provides good coffee and free for guests to use. We had a lovely view of the lake, but understand that this may not available for every room."

"Overall, I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is clean, the environment is comfortable, and the location is perfect—just steps away from Hangzhou Zhan Station. The staff were very kind and allowed me to leave my luggage after checkout. The city view from the room was also beautiful. The only drawback is that the towels provided are one-time-use disposable towels, which I found a bit inconvenient. Aside from that, everything else was wonderful."

"First off, the hardware is excellent. All rooms have large windows with mountain views, and from the fifth-floor rooftop, you get beautiful panoramic views of the surroundings. You can also walk to a nearby mountain; it's not too high, just a fifteen-minute climb. The property is located within a scenic area, and public transport is incredibly convenient, with direct buses to all the West Lake attractions. There are also plenty of great food options nearby. The owner's service is superb! They upgraded us to a room with a tea area and gave us lots of delicious snacks, even sharing their own personal tea stash. The best part is that the owner also lives on-site, which gave us a real sense of home and belonging while traveling. If I'm lucky enough to visit West Lake again, I'll definitely stay here!"

"The hotel boasts an excellent location, very close to West Lake. It's also quite convenient to walk to Broken Bridge, and being in the city center, it's near shopping malls and plazas. The hotel facilities are comprehensive. I had done some research online beforehand regarding the service. The front desk staff were very friendly during check-in. The room was also satisfactory, and when I needed assistance adjusting breakfast, the front desk handled it promptly and effectively. Breakfast was incredibly rich and varied. They offered steamed buns, mixed noodles, and freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices. The breakfast was a healthy mix of Western and Chinese options."

"I booked this hotel for three days, and this review is for the third day of my extended stay. I specifically requested a 'Smart Choice King' room. This particular room faced the street, but the front desk staff assigned me a higher floor, so it was relatively quiet. While the wallpaper showed a bit of wear, the room was overall very clean and comfortable. The only downside was that the air conditioning took a little while to heat up. I believe this room type is the best; the sink and toilet are in a separate small compartment, and there's no mirror facing the bed. I didn't take photos of this specific room type, but its general appearance is consistent with the descriptions. All the staff members were very kind and patient."
