"We had a wonderful 4-night stay at this hotel in Lijiang. The room offered a beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding green mountains, which made every morning feel special. There was plenty of space, even with 2 large suitcases, and everything felt comfortable and well thought out. The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk through the park to Lijiang Old Town. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Afternoon milky rose tea was a lovely extra touch and a very pleasant compliment from the hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this place."

"The highlight of my Lijiang trip has to be the Jinmao Hotel Lijiang, a Hyatt Centric hotel! I've stayed in countless hotels, but this place truly captivated me with its 'bustling outside, serene inside' experience. It's just a 15-minute walk to Shuhe Ancient Town, and after soaking in the vibrant atmosphere there, you can retreat to this Naxi-style courtyard oasis. The red walls and black tiles reflected in the flowing water, even the air feels relaxing. The room was an absolute delight. The solid wood furniture exuded a warm, rich feel. The hotel offers many activities, and the service details were impeccable. You can even catch a glimpse of the stunning Jade Dragon Snow Mountain from the breakfast restaurant. The room also came with a large bathtub, adding a perfect touch of vacation luxury. The hotel staff were always prompt and thoughtful, making the trip feel like a warm family visit. From the facilities to the service details, everything showcased a five-star quality. I particularly want to thank Christina for her attentive care, which made the entire journey incredibly comfortable. Next time I'm in Lijiang, I will definitely choose this hotel again!"

"For my trip to Lijiang Old Town, I chose to stay at this hotel within the ancient city, and overall, I was extremely satisfied. The hotel's location is excellent; it's just a short walk to the main street of the Old Town, but it's not in the most bustling area, so it was very quiet at night – perfect for a good rest. The courtyard has a typical Naxi architectural style, which is very characteristic of Lijiang and makes for great photos. The room was clean and tidy, well-equipped, with comfortable bedding and reliable hot water. The owner and staff were all very welcoming and even proactively offered recommendations for sightseeing routes and local food in the Old Town, which was a really thoughtful touch. Enjoying the sun and tea in the courtyard in the morning was incredibly relaxing. Overall, it offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Lijiang and will recommend it to my friends."

"Hassle-free stay. Right in the heart of the ancient city, everything from food to entertainment is just a stone's throw away. The unique experiences truly left a deep impression. Firstly, during our stay, we participated in the hotel's arranged traditional tea-making workshop. From selecting the tea leaves and 'killing green' to rolling the tea, the entire process was very engaging. Being able to taste the tea I made myself at the end made me very happy. Secondly, the hotel also offered a traditional costume rental service. There were many styles available, and they were all very clean. The staff patiently helped us with accessories and styling, and the photos turned out wonderfully. Since they offer such a great costume service, I suggest adding more photo-worthy backdrops in the courtyard or surrounding areas. Additionally, the overall attention to detail and ambiance were thoughtful, seamlessly blending local cultural characteristics into the accommodation. Compared to other hotels in the same price range, it definitely offers a more memorable experience. Overall, the room was good, and the unique experiences were a huge plus. I hope they can maintain this standard going forward."

"For my 5-day Dali-Lijiang trip, I stayed at this hotel for two days in Lijiang. I wholeheartedly give it a five-star rating and highly recommend it – you won't regret it! Location: It's about a 20-minute taxi ride from Lijiang Railway Station. The hotel is right by the North Gate of the Old Town (near the Big Water Wheel, a 3-minute walk away). The hotel has its own courtyard, so parking is easy. Getting a taxi to the airport takes about 40 minutes and is also convenient. Amenities: What impressed me most was that all the toilets, even in the lobby, were smart toilets – a huge plus! The hotel also offers free use of washing machines and dryers on the -1 floor, which was great for washing and drying my down jacket. Highlights: 1. Rooms with a terrace: You can sunbathe on the terrace, which has beach chairs. It's perfect for lounging in the afternoon and soaking up the sun – incredibly comfortable. 2. Breakfast and afternoon tea on the fourth floor: The view from here is absolutely stunning, overlooking the entire Lijiang Old Town. It’s a prime spot for photos and checking in! The afternoon tea sets are also very affordable, with single sets costing just over 30 RMB. I enjoyed a sunny afternoon tea on the day I checked in, perfect for sunbathing and relaxing. The breakfast is extensive and rivals many 4-star hotels, with a noodle station, substantial toppings, and a wide array of desserts and fruits. It's served from 7:30 AM to 10:00 AM, giving you plenty of time. 3. Service: After booking, the owner proactively contacted me, providing details on the hotel's location, transportation, and weather, which was very thoughtful. Upon arrival, I received a warm welcome, and they even upgraded my room to a garden-view room with a terrace for sunbathing. They also treated us to a generous afternoon tea. "Manager Yang Yi was proactive and hospitable. Contacted me weeks before arrival to arrange for pick up. The hotel is located in Lijiang Ancient Town. Very convenient to many places of interest. Eg. Black dragon pool, Big water wheel, Lijiang Mu Mansion, etc. My friends and I enjoyed our stay. Photo: View from our room."

"This hotel is absolutely wonderful! The rooftop café offers direct views of the snow-capped mountains, and on a clear day, you can even witness the breathtaking 'Golden Mountain' sunrise from there. The owner was incredibly thoughtful; they arranged airport pickup for us when we arrived late at night and even turned on the floor heating in our room before we got there. The room itself was spotless and tidy, and they had thoughtfully prepared fresh fruit and drinks for us. I have to highlight the rooftop café and the exquisite afternoon tea the owner provided. Just gazing at the snow mountains while relaxing up there was incredibly blissful. Plus, the location is super convenient, very close to Lijiang Old Town. I highly recommend it!!! There's also a drying area on the fourth floor, adorned with many beautiful succulents. Seventy percent of my wonderful memories of Lijiang are thanks to this hotel!"

"Good view of Yulong Snow Mountain from room and rooftop lounge & terrace. They even thoughtfully set up 3 tripod stands on the rooftop terrace for guests’ use. Room was clean & spacious, bed was comfortable and shower pressure was good. No elevator so you need to climb stairs to your room or breakfast / butter tea demo (level 5 rooftop) which can be a little strenuous if you are not used to the high altitude yet. Breakfast is very good, especially the panfried chickpea jelly. We were too early for breakfast on our day to the snow mountain, and they packed simple breakfast (bread, orange & milk) for us to go. We also enjoyed the snacks provided at the nightly butter tea demo. They also kindly helped us rent an electric scooter online when we could not do it due to lack of local number. Location is about 20min walk to Lijiang Old Town. Highly recommended and I would stay here again"

"This guesthouse truly exceeded all our expectations, so I absolutely have to write a review. First, let's talk about the owner – they are incredibly kind. Before we even arrived, they proactively contacted me and thoughtfully arranged for a car to pick up my partner from the airport and bring them to the guesthouse, which was a huge relief. Later, when we wanted to visit Shuhe Ancient Town and Baisha Ancient Town, the owner didn't hesitate to drive us there and back, handling everything perfectly. The most touching moment was when it suddenly started raining while we were at Tinghua Valley. We couldn't get a ride anywhere and were getting anxious, so we tried contacting the owner. They immediately told us to find shelter and then drove out to pick us up themselves – it truly warmed our hearts. The guesthouse's location is excellent, very close to both Baisha Ancient Town and Shuhe Ancient Town. The room was absolutely flawless; beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The most amazing thing was being able to open the curtains every morning and see the 'Golden Mountain in the Morning Sun' (日照金山), which made waking up feel incredibly worthwhile every single day. If 100 is a perfect score, this guesthouse deserves at least 120. The service, environment, and even the smallest details were impeccable. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit."

"The first stop of my Yunnan trip. I booked a suite with a view of the golden sunrise over the mountains. The front desk staff, a few lovely ladies, were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They recommended great local eateries near the hotel, which gave me a fantastic first impression of Yunnan. I felt that everyone here was so warm, kind, and sincere. You can walk to Lijiang Ancient Town, and you have the option of entering through the Big Waterwheel gate or the West gate, both offering beautiful scenery. There's also a small plaza downstairs from the hotel, where several groups were doing square dancing in the evening – it was really lively!"
