"An absolutely wonderful experience! The entire hotel was designed by Singapore's Temasek Group and is seamlessly integrated with the Panmen Scenic Area. The hotel itself is built around a traditional Chinese garden layout, cleverly concealing eight distinct attractions. Its back entrance leads directly into the Panmen Scenic Area, and with your hotel key card, you get unlimited access throughout the day, along with services like Hanfu rental. The hotel itself is impeccable, with top-notch amenities, including the pool and gym. The customer service staff are also very professional. I noticed many foreigners, especially Singaporeans, staying here. The only minor drawback is that the rooms are spread across multiple buildings, making the hotel quite large. On my first visit, it took me a while to navigate from the front desk to my room. Also, the front desk is on the 3rd floor, while the rooms are on the 1st and 2nd floors, which can be a bit confusing when coming and going."

Nestled in the heart of Suzhou's famed "Gusu Old Street"—the Qili Shantang Scenic Area—our hotel is within easy reach of popular attractions such as Guanqian Street, the Humble Administrator’s Garden, Hanshan Temple, and the Gate of the Orient. Surrounded by rich cultural ambiance and convenient transportation, exploring the city’s landmarks has never been easier. Stepping into our hotel is like traveling through time—this was once the site of the Jiangnan Weaving Bureau during the Ming and Qing dynasties, overseeing the region’s magnificent textile heritage. Today, you can not only observe and even try your hand at traditional weaving techniques in our on-site Intangible Cultural Heritage Silk Experience Museum, but also immerse yourself in the elegant lifestyle of Jiangnan literati amid the refined beauty of a classical Suzhou garden. Designed with water as its rhythm, the architecture is adorned with winding streams, rockeries, pavilions, and lush greenery, forming a living ink-wash painting of Jiangnan. We are committed to conveying the charm of Gusu in every detail—from the lobby furnishings and corridor patterns to the silk textiles in each room and the views beyond every latticed window, all embody the subtle poetry of Suzhou aesthetics. We offer a variety of themed room types infused with silk culture, catering to business trips, family vacations, and parent-child getaways. Each room is equipped with century-old brand mattresses and high-thread-count silk pillows to ensure a cloud-like sleeping experience. "This hotel is nestled within the Seven-Mile Shantang Scenic Area, making it perfect for travelers who enjoy exploring at their own pace and planning their own itinerary. Since it's located in an ancient town, the paths are cobblestone, so those with heavy luggage (like me!) should take note. Don't rush; take your time and really soak it all in. The hotel itself is housed within the Jiangnan Weaving Museum, and it's absolutely beautiful! All the staff are very polite and the service is excellent. I'd recommend staying a few extra days to get the most value. There's so much to see and do in Shantang Old Town; make sure to walk along both sides of the river!"

"The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from Pingjiang Road. After exploring Pingjiang Road, it's perfectly situated to visit the Humble Administrator's Garden and Suzhou Museum. The hotel has an antique charm, offering a quiet retreat in a bustling area. I was pleasantly surprised to find a direct dispenser for hot and cold drinking water in the room. Breakfast isn't a buffet; you choose your items the day before, but it's so delicious and generous that we only wished our stomachs were bigger! From the moment we checked in, every staff member was incredibly warm and welcoming. A special shout-out to Front Desk Agent Xiao Xu, who contacted us even before our arrival to give us directions and continued to check in on us until we checked out. She truly made this short trip perfect, and we're so grateful!"

"Pet breakfast: Includes meat, egg yolk, and broccoli. My pet pretty much finished it all, very good. Pet welcome pack: Small snacks, poop bags, and cleaning gloves – very thoughtful. Twin Trees Mountain Hot Springs: Although not very large, it has 12 small pools. If it's not too crowded, it's a great place to soak. Service: The service was excellent; we were lucky enough to get upgraded to a junior suite. Cleanliness: We booked a pet-friendly room. The room was very clean, and they even provided a dog bed, as well as food and water bowls. You don't need to bring these if you're traveling with a pet. Environment: Convenient parking and a great location. It's just a short walk to Trees Mountain and a 7-minute drive to Emerald Lake."

"It's been a month since I first encountered Niccolo, and ever since my initial stay, I've been constantly recommending it, bringing many friends for staycations. This time, I specially came to Niccolo during my business trip to Wuxi to take work photos, and then enjoyed a staycation afterward. Let me cut to the chase: four words – it's great to be back! Because it was a last-minute booking (due to the nature of my work and my spontaneous personality), I was initially worried the hotel might overlook something during check-in. However, I found that was not the case at all. Mr. Wen, upon learning of my spontaneous arrival, still efficiently arranged everything with the hotel staff. When he found out I needed to take work photos, he thoughtfully placed a lint roller in the room in advance and even told me the sunset time that day, offering his best wishes for my work. Upon arrival, the concierge efficiently brought us a luggage cart and smiled, gesturing, 'Mr. Yang, good to see you again! Welcome back! 🥰' Stepping into the room, I can honestly say the king-size room's view, layout, and other aspects were much better than the twin room I'd stayed in before! Mr. Wen, knowing I don't like desserts, thoughtfully prepared seasonal fruits for me. The welcome card read, 'From anticipation to frequent visits, from first encounter to old friend.' The hotel constantly makes me feel 'at home,' like I'm 'seeing my family, my old friends.' This is exactly what I, and all guests, desire. I was incredibly lucky that day because my last stay, due to the weather, didn't offer a particularly good view; it was hazy. But this time, the weather was absolutely stunning. From the perspective of taking work photos, the hotel's decor, design, weather, model, and the texture of the finished clothing were all indispensable. And that day, everything truly aligned perfectly, saving us so much work and allowing us to capture many pictures we were very satisfied with (P.S., Mr. Wen even jokingly said he hoped to see our work photos, lol!). And after work, the floor-to-ceiling windows, polished almost to a mirror shine, offered an unobstructed view of the stunning skyline outside. Coupled with the excellent weather that day, it seemed to put me in a great mood, making everything I did feel motivated and full of anticipation. 🥰 One small regret from my last stay was that there were no singer performances on Monday, so this time I specifically timed my stay to coincide with the performance, and I also got to see my good friends, the two South African female singers. It made up for that previous regret. One thing I always have to praise about Niccolo's bar, setting aside the professionalism, decor, design, and views as basic elements, is just one thing: the selection of music by the singers and DJ. It's always incredibly tasteful and stylish! 😆 There was a funny little anecdote during check-out the next day, which also touched me deeply. Because I had a flight from Wuxi to Guangzhou on the evening of my check-out day, I checked out at 2 PM and stored my luggage at the front desk on the first floor. A male greeter (sorry, I don't recall his name, and there are so many staff members, and I'm a bit bad with faces 🥲) saw me. I told him, 'Hello, could you please store this for me? I'm going out to buy some cigarettes and grab a bite, and I expect to be back around 4 PM to pick up my luggage.' He said enthusiastically and happily (I don't know if it was my imagination, but almost every staff member I met seemed happy, hahaha), 'No problem, Mr. Yang. You've seen me before; I arranged your car transfer during your last stay. We all remember you, and everyone looks forward to seeing you next time.' After he said that, I honestly felt a warmth in my heart. I've always believed that countless luxury hotels in mainland China don't need to compete on hardware. The hardware has reached its peak; in plain terms, it's all pretty much the same. Ultimately, what truly matters is the guests' happiness, the service attitude, and the hotel's 'sincerity.' If a hotel's service attitude is lax, no matter how advanced the hardware or how luxurious the scale, it will lack 'human touch.' Finally, to summarize this stay: it was too perfect, almost impeccable. The hotel's scenery, brand ethos, decor and design, humanistic atmosphere, quality of service, and that constant 'human touch' that anticipates all guests' needs – all contributed to this wonderful stay, and every stay. As I said before, I expect and firmly believe that the hotel will always maintain this original intention, providing me and all guests with an excellent experience every single time. Looking forward to seeing you again next time! 😆"
