Scenic Hotels in Taining

"I'd heard about the new five-star hotel in Taining and was really impressed upon arrival! The hotel is built into the mountainside, with the lobby and restaurant on the 7th floor. The guest rooms all overlook the lake, offering lake views that cascade down the hillside, somewhat reminiscent of the Shanghai Sheshan Wonderland Hotel – very unique. The rooms are spacious and well-designed, with a large bathtub in the bathroom – I loved it! The bathroom also features a separate shower and toilet. It was a wonderful vacation with my best friend. The hotel was clean and tidy, and the service was attentive. The air conditioning was pre-set for dinner, making it warm and cozy in the freezing Taining. For lunch, we ordered a simple meal at the restaurant. The food was delicious, especially the fried rice and the mixed fruit and pork belly – a perfect combination. The staff and chef even came to check on our preferences, which was very thoughtful. I forgot to take a picture of the afternoon's special 9.9 yuan coffee, but it was such a great deal! The coffee was authentic and incredibly fragrant, and it even came with a glutinous rice cake – such a high-value meal! I'm worried they might be losing money. 😘💪 In short, this trip to Bajian was totally worth it! 👍👍👍"

"First of all, the hotel is located in a very central location, about 500 meters away from the ancient city, and it is very convenient to go to Jiulongtan or Dajin Lake. Secondly, there are many choices for eating nearby, including various farmhouse dishes and snacks. The hotel room is clean and tidy, with complete facilities but a little old due to time. The matching tea set is very practical, and it is comfortable and cozy to make tea in the room at night. There is no problem with the wall sound insulation, it is quite quiet, the bed is of medium softness and can provide more support, the breakfast is not rich but it has everything it should have. I compared many hotels before booking, and this one is a good match at this price. I am quite satisfied with this stay and will consider it next time"

"Initially booked a deluxe queen suite and Trip.com / hotel confirmed we could add a single bed. Upon arrival, hotel said they couldn't and changed us to a family suite even though they have rollaway beds available and the deluxe queen suite had ample space. Room: Family suite is spacious but A/C took very long to warm up the room. Bathroom is open concept with clothing rack situated outside the shower closet which makes it inconvenient to dress/undress. Breakfast buffet has a decent selection of Chinese dishes including a noodle station. Location: Hotel is ＜10 min drive from train station and old town area which is quite convenient considering that most of the hotels that are walking distance from the old town are dated and undermaintained."

"We need to stay in Taining for one night during the trip. We chose Chengdahao, which has good reviews. For comfort, we booked a suite. The room is really big. It is quite spacious for two people. The layout is simple and warm. 😌 One of the reasons why I have never been willing to stay in B&Bs is that the sound insulation of B&Bs is generally not good. But think about it. In a wooden house, people talking in the yard or outside the wall can be heard clearly in the room. During the festival, the sound of firecrackers and fireworks never stops. Fortunately, it is still quite quiet after midnight. Breakfast includes porridge and steamed buns, and the fish with porridge is super delicious~~ The owner is a very friendly young couple. They live in a corner of the inn. When the sun is good, they will sit in the yard with the guests to bask in the sun and chat. Everyone is very happy. Overall, it is one of the most satisfactory B&Bs I have stayed in. The price-performance ratio is quite high. The inn is also a characteristic building, and it will be very photogenic. If you drive here, you need to contact the boss in advance. The boss will guide you on the specific parking spot and pick you up at a set location. It feels great. In addition, the ancient town is well built and it is nice to walk around in it. Although it was not the peak season when we went there, there were still many people."
