"The hotel's location is great, right next to the bus stop, and the room was decent too. The buffet breakfast was excellent, with very fresh fruit, and the restaurant staff were attentive. However, the entire hotel's value is completely dragged down by the front desk staff! From check-in to check-out, they were utterly indifferent. They barely responded to any questions, never offered help proactively, and were just stiff and rigid! It's as if they were put to work without any training whatsoever – absolutely terrible! The front desk staff are the core reception for the entire hotel and represent its service, yet this is precisely where a huge problem lies! What a real shame!"

"Checked in on May 20th. The lovely lady at the front desk gave us a complimentary room upgrade and breakfast vouchers. This is our second time staying at this hotel, and I love the name (both beautiful and grand – Meili Hao, which means beautiful and grand). The hotel is clean and hygienic, the lobby is spacious, and they offer free mini ice creams. Since we stayed for two nights, the cleaning staff always did a fantastic job. The breakfast spread isn't huge, but it caters to both Western and Chinese tastes, and everything is very clean and fresh. I usually don't write reviews, but I'm rambling on this time, mainly because the front desk staff, particularly Xiao Guo, left such a wonderful impression. She was incredibly kind and patiently answered all our questions about local attractions, offering helpful tips. Xiao Guo is very dedicated and responsible in her work, and she deserves praise! 👍 The hotel itself is so clean and tidy that I didn't even take any photos. Since I need to post a review now, I've just uploaded a picture of the rainy exterior from that night and a landscape painting behind the bed (which I just randomly snapped at the time)."

The rooms are even more beautiful in person than in the photos. A delicate sandalwood scent greets you upon entering. The rooms are tastefully furnished, with brand-new facilities, impeccably clean, and the thick, comfortable bedding and excellent soundproofing ensure a restful night's sleep. The front desk staff and the owners are incredibly welcoming and attentive, proactively helping with luggage and recommending must-see attractions, making you feel truly welcome. The 500-square-meter courtyard offers a relaxing space for tea and conversation, equipped with underfloor heating, a water dispenser, and other smart amenities – impeccable attention to detail! With exceptional value for money, it's an ideal choice for pilgrimage or vacation, and I would definitely stay here again!"

"The front desk staff were incredibly kind. They turned on the A/C in my room beforehand, worried I'd be cold, and even upgraded my room! They also gave me breakfast vouchers. They were asking if I'd arrived and how I was getting there even before I landed. I originally planned to stay two nights, but there was no underfloor heating, and the A/C couldn't really heat the room. Plus, the hot water was only lukewarm, which left me feeling a bit chilly. It would be much better if they improved this, especially in such cold weather. The environment itself is quite nice though."

"Looking at the outdoor photos of the hotel, I thought it would be one of those places with its own courtyard. However, upon arrival, I realized the pictures were just well-taken; it's actually a hotel right by the main road. Our room was at the very end and faced west, so I was initially worried about road noise at night, but it turned out to be surprisingly quiet. The reservation originally included only one child's breakfast, but when I spoke to the front desk attendant, she kindly extended it to all three of us, which was a nice touch! The bed, pillows, and duvet were indeed very comfortable, soft, and clean. The room's cleanliness was also decent. The space wasn't as large as I expected, but it was perfectly adequate – it's not like we needed to run around in it! I just thought for over 900 yuan, it would be much bigger and better. However, when we first entered, the smell wasn't pleasant; it was like the previous occupant was an elderly person, or perhaps it had a general 'old person' smell. Secondly, the air conditioning wasn't very effective, and there was no remote control – maybe it was removed, or perhaps AC isn't needed this time of year? Even though it wasn't very cold when we checked in, for those who get chilly easily, it felt like it would need to be on at night. Everything else was quite good! Ultimately, with the price hike for the May Day holiday, I didn't feel it was entirely worth the 900+ yuan per night."

"Even if it's hard to get tickets for Mount Wutai online, it's still possible to buy them offline, except during the Chinese New Year period (4th to 5th day). The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a ten-minute walk from the bus station. You can contact the front desk for both outbound and return trips. As a solo traveler, cleanliness, quietness, and convenience are my top priorities. The breakfast selection was quite rich, and I could have lunch and dinner at the hotel's restaurant. What surprised me the most was the incredibly thoughtful service. Since I had to leave very early the next day for Wuye Temple and needed to book a car, Xiaoyan at the front desk meticulously noted my reservation time. The next morning, when I inquired about the car at the front desk, the lady at the front desk handed me a breakfast to tide me over. Such attention to detail truly reflects their excellent service, and the Hanting Premium Hotel certainly didn't disappoint. I'll definitely choose the Hanting Premium Hotel again if I have the chance. After a tiring journey, a quiet and reassuring place to stay is exactly what's needed. It was very close to the top of the Bodhisattva, and it was very convenient to travel in Shangxiang. The whole two-story building is completely new, leaving aside the noisy shops along the street, quiet and hidden in the mountains, the design style and hardware configuration inside, really beyond many high-end chain hotels, more than Marriott's unique oriental charm. As soon as you step in the door, you can experience the delicate Zen aesthetics. The soft and warm new Chinese layout is full of intentions. The center of the hall is specially created to create a flower and grass landscape. The grass and trees are scattered and elegant, and the impetuousness in the mountains is instantly settled. Exquisite investment can be seen everywhere in the guest room, the whole house is covered by intelligent system, the lighting and curtain voice can be adjusted, taking into account comfort and convenience. The drinking area is equipped with wall-mounted hot water purification equipment, which can be adjusted at any time to drink water at a suitable temperature, clean and worry-free. The bathing area is more high-standard, the piano button shower comes with a temperature display, the water outlet mode, the water temperature adjustment is clear and intuitive; the toiletries are comprehensive, and the thick cotton bath towels are often provided. "It's quite close to the entrance of the scenic area, not far from the entrance itself, but not very close to the main temples and restaurants. I recommend coming by car, as parking is convenient at the entrance. The environment is okay, but there's not much service overall; it's more like a self-service experience. There's also no drinking water in the rooms."

"The hotel is about one stop away from the end of the shuttle bus of Wutai Mountain Scenic Area. The owner of the store was very enthusiastic and made pertinent suggestions for us to go up the mountain, because we did not make an appointment in advance to enter the mountain. (This is really difficult. You have to grab an appointment three or two days in advance, and you may not be able to make an appointment. After you arrive, you can find a local tour guide who has a high price to enter the mountain.) However, the boss suggested that we should not drive up the mountain because even if you drive up, it is difficult to find a parking space on the mountain. Not every scenic spot has a parking lot, but the scenic bus has a stop at each scenic spot, so we decided to park the car at the parking lot at the foot of the mountain and take the shuttle bus up the mountain. It was indeed as the boss said. It took more than 20 minutes to reach the end point~Dailuoding Station. Because we arrived at the foot of Wutai Mountain at 10 o'clock in the evening, the boss drove to pick us up in person after we arrived. He said that there is actually a No. 9 bus at this end that can go directly to the hotel. Along the way, the boss explained to us the travel strategy of Wutai Mountain and the suggestions and precautions for worshiping Buddha. The hotel is located on the mountain. There is a large night market and all kinds of restaurants. They are open until late, so you don't have to worry about going up the mountain late and going hungry. The hotel is clean and tidy, with good sound insulation. The key is that it may be because it is in Lingshan Mountain. It is very comfortable to sleep and relieve fatigue. It is recommended that you stay in the mountain if you can. The sleep quality is really 8. It's so good. The next day we went to Wuye Temple, and the boss asked his young nephew to drive us to the foot of Wuye Temple. It was really thoughtful. Next time I go, I will definitely stay at this hotel. The price-performance ratio is absolutely high!"
