"Didi stops at the entrance to small lane, walk a little bit along the curve lane to find this lovely place. Breakfast set was simple yet filling. Location is convenient to find food nearby and even walking to Da Hong Pao Performance is not an issue. From the balcony you could see the mountain at night. There is a laundry machine (detergent is provided) to use on 3rd floor. There is ample hangers and laundry lines are on 4th floor balcony to hang clothes to dry. There is a swing at the yard for enjoyment as well. The hosts are very warm and helpful people. It was a very pleasant stay."

"A delightful surprise during my trip to Wuyi Mountain! Guanlan Shuyuan is nestled along the Chongyang Stream, offering breathtaking views of lush mountains and clear waters right from the window. The designer villa style is incredibly photogenic, and the private balcony is perfect for enjoying tea and the scenery. The whole-house smart system is super convenient. The bedding was so soft, I had a great night's sleep. Housekeeper Xiao Chen was very attentive and even brought welcome fruits. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit to Wuyi!"

"Excellent stay! I received a free room upgrade, which included a bathtub and a wet/dry separation in the bathroom. The guesthouse lobby has two adorable cats, a British Shorthair named 'Jinbao' and a Golden British Shorthair named 'Zhaocai'. Zhaocai is quite a rebel and will playfully swat at anyone, but Jinbao is super friendly and lets you pet her as long as you have cat treats. The overall accommodation environment was fantastic. What was even better was their restaurant. We stayed for two nights and had all three of our main meals at the guesthouse. The food was absolutely delicious and perfectly suited our taste buds. In contrast, many restaurants within the Wuyishan scenic area can be hit or miss – I won't name names, but there are just too many 'influencer' spots. Right across the road from the guesthouse is 'Impression Dahongpao', which was a great show to catch in the evening. A short walk further is the Tea Culture Park, and if you follow the path deep into the park, you'll find a famous walking trail. Every weekend evening, there's a band that performs there for free. On the morning we went to the Wuyishan National Park, we even borrowed a traditional bamboo hat from the guesthouse, which was a fun experience. The only slight downside was breakfast; it wasn't quite to my liking as it was a bit greasy and salty. So, on the second morning, we went out for Zixi noodles instead. The soundproofing in the room could be better; I could hear conversations in the hallway in the morning, but it wasn't a major issue. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit."

"The family room features a bed and a small tea table, perfect for having tea and chatting with friends. The front desk staff was incredibly kind; seeing I had twisted my ankle, she proactively moved us from the third floor to the second and even helped carry our luggage up. They mentioned it's an old building, so there's no elevator. One suggestion I have is that since the stairs are quite wide, they could consider installing a ramp on the staircase. This would make it much easier to slide luggage up, saving guests a lot of effort."

"We were in Wuyishan for a chat and tea at a friend's tea house, and booked this hotel last minute for an overnight stay. When we arrived late, our reserved room had a facility issue and couldn't be used. However, the hotel quickly arranged for us to stay at their sister property, Guanlan, right next door, and even upgraded our room. The butler was incredibly helpful! The hotel environment is lovely; stepping out onto the balcony, you're greeted by mountains and a stream. All the bathroom fixtures are Kohler, and the rooms have smart controls and even underfloor heating, which was a pleasant surprise! Being close to the mountains, the underfloor heating addressed my concerns about dampness. The AC also adjusted temperature quickly, and the toiletries smelled great! The hotel is a courtyard villa that integrates a tea house, brunch, and guest rooms. It's fully equipped and away from the hustle and bustle – a perfect spot for a vacation! Highly recommended!"

It's conveniently located near the Wuyi Palace scenic area (about a 13-minute walk). Looking down from the second floor, the guesthouse resembles a traditional courtyard house. On nice days, you can relax downstairs. Both the outdoor spiral staircase by the front desk and the area outside the restaurant have open-air balconies, offering picturesque views everywhere you look. There's also a huge lawn outside the guesthouse. 🛋️ **Room Type:** We stayed in a loft-style room. The first floor has its own balcony and a bathtub (complete with disposable tub liners). 🛁 **Facilities:** The guesthouse boasts a tea room, a restaurant, a laundry room, a children's play room, and an outdoor hot spring-style soaking pool. They even provide toiletries specifically for children, making it an excellent choice for various guests, especially families with kids. 🙌 **Service:** I'm giving this a well-deserved five-star rating! The staff were quick to respond, provided thoughtful service, and always greeted us with a smile. "Experience on the Road - Wuyishan Shangu Hotel Coming to Wuyishan with my family, staying at Sangu was a must, and this hotel was my carefully chosen pick. Thankfully, I made the right choice. The hotel is right on the main road of Sangu Town, excellent location. There's a bus stop right outside with free buses, very convenient. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was good, and soundproofing was decent too. I came during the off-season, and for just over 100 RMB, I personally feel that for this price, the hotel's amenities and service are excellent. What more could you ask for? If you're too demanding, I suggest you go to a more expensive hotel. The hotel still has room for improvement. If the overall temperature of the breakfast could be increased, it would be even better for people from the north visiting in winter. Overall, no complaints. Recommended."

"This hotel was chosen after a long search on Ctrip, and to my surprise, it exceeded all expectations. It's definitely a place I'd revisit. The hotel's food is very clean. In the morning, you can get freshly cooked noodles or rice vermicelli with fresh toppings, which already puts it head and shoulders above many guesthouses and hotels. Eating a hot bowl of noodles in the morning is truly comforting. In terms of facilities, I didn't even get to mention the gym, swimming pool, and laundry room – they have everything! The laundry room is very clean. If you can't pick up your clothes on time, the staff will even fold them for you and place them in a nearby storage cabinet. The hotel room was spotless and the soundproofing was excellent; I slept soundly until morning. The view was also fantastic, with a direct sightline to Dawang Peak. After breakfast, my family and I took a stroll around the hotel grounds. The air was fresh, and there's a koi pond in the courtyard where you can feed the fish. It's perfect for a vacation with elderly family members and children. The service is truly thoughtful."
