Pillow the River and Watch the City, Encounter a Comfortable Time
Jiayue Riverside Hotel is a life-wise "viewing post" by the Qijiang River. Here, guests staying in the river-view rooms will be woken up by the first ray of sunlight on the river in the early morning. Opening the window, they will be greeted by the river breeze with moisture. In the evening, they can watch the setting sun dye the river surface golden, a romance so captivating that one hates to blink. For guests in the city-view rooms, they can overlook the daily life of the South District—watching the streets gradually come alive in the morning light and admiring the warm sea of lights formed by thousands of households at night, feeling the peace and steadiness in the city.
If you want to relax, fill the bathtub with warm water and soak while enjoying the scenery; all tiredness will be gently dissolved. If you feel like strolling, the Qijiang Trail is just downstairs. Wandering in the river breeze and watching the cruise ships glide across the water, you will feel cozy and free. Every service of the hotel is infused with care—from the warm greeting upon check-in to the thoughtfully prepared amenities in the room. We strive to let you enjoy the healing power of the scenery and feel the warmth of home during your journey or leisure time.
Welcome to Zhongshan Jiayue Riverside Hotel, savor the charm of Zhongshan and start your "riverside" journey!
"This new hotel, which opened just 25 years ago, is located right on the Shiqi River, just 7 kilometers from Zhongshan Zhanyuan, a ten-minute drive. I booked a king-size room with a mountain view. With no nearby high-rise buildings obstructing the view, I had a truly stunning mountain view. The room amenities were all new, including a smart toilet that didn't require bending over to flush. Breakfast was also available in the lobby on the first floor. While the selection wasn't as extensive as at a star-rated hotel, it was clean and hygienic, which was better than nothing.
The surroundings are also worth praising. Food and shopping are all within easy reach. A few hundred meters away is the food court, filled with various restaurants and bars, popular with locals. At night, the riverside becomes a spontaneous night market, where locals drive their cars to set up stalls, selling mostly tea and snacks, not goods. After dinner, a stroll along the river is also a great option. In short, staying here is a great way to avoid boredom."
