"We specifically chose to experience both Kiki and Hokushinui in Eastern Hokkaido, and honestly, we loved both. As first-timers, it was great to have a shuttle bus waiting for us right when we got off the coach. The driver even held a sign to confirm our booking, and the staff would greet us and open doors every time we entered or left. They even said 'thank you' in Chinese when they knew we were from China, which instantly made us feel more at home. The overall design seems to be centered around natural, untouched beauty, and the 'blue hour' moments were truly stunning. There's also a dedicated area to relax and enjoy tea. The room was much larger than typical Tokyo hotel rooms and impeccably clean. Even as I write this review, looking through my photos brings back such happy memories from Eastern Hokkaido. I think that's the true meaning of great hotel service: letting these small, beautiful details become cherished and unforgettable moments in your travels and in life, warming you and taking you back to that moment whenever you think of them."

"For us it is the second time in this wonderful hotel and every time it is like living a dream: it feels like being in a bubble thanks to all the well-being in which you are immersed. You are pampered by every service present and by the kindness of the staff, which makes you feel at home. The food is simply divine and you would just like to have a more spacious stomach so you could taste more and more. Nature is unsurpassed, every day you find yourself meeting spectacular creatures even just going out a short distance away. You will not find a similar place in all of Japan, where man meets nature in a perfect combination of balance, harmony and deep respect. We hope to be able to return a third time and relive this beautiful dream again. Thank you for everything Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel!"

"The room was very comfortable, with a hot spring area, and quite spacious. It's right next to the bus stop, no need to climb up. Unfortunately, the ice had melted when I arrived, otherwise the snow scenery would have been truly beautiful! Luggage can be stored in advance. Perhaps it's in a soft opening phase after the name change, as there didn't seem to be many guests; I didn't see anyone in the smoking area all day. Dinner and breakfast were both buffets, very plentiful, but the crab legs were a bit dry…"

"This Chinese New Year, I embarked on a solo trip to Shiretoko Peninsula, dubbed Japan's last unexplored region. The room was spotless, the views were absolutely incredible, and the food was among the best I've had on my many trips to Japan. The price was also a steal – three nights with breakfast and dinner included, right during peak CNY, for under 2000 [currency unspecified, likely RMB]. You'd be lucky to find a rundown hostel for that price in Europe! The only minor downside was that the onsen view was just okay, but at this price, who's complaining? I'd love to bring my parents here someday. Keep up the excellent quality!"
