The Helmet Hotel

THE WORST hotel i’ve ever stayed in. THE PICTURES ON THE WEBSITE DO NOT REPRESENT THE ROOMS!!! We checked in and our room was on the 2nd floor. As we got to the hallway we couldn’t get past as there was two men doing work. As we got into the room it wasn’t even clean!! Dirty bed, not made, dirty towels on the bed. We immediately went downstairs and asked for a new room, then second room stunk like cigarettes. The mattress was disgustingly dirty, there was dust everywhere and the curtains were thin. The walls were dirty, the bathroom was dirty. We left the room and went on with our day and when we returned we found a cockroach on the curtain. And someone was unpleasantly throwing up outside our room. We moved hotels in the end, i was so distraught and upset. the worst experience!

The worst hotel in Brussels, filthy i mean really filthy, blood on the walls and the bed asked to change rooms.. and it was just as bad… really criminally bad..

I'm not sure why some individuals are leaving reviews like this. I stayed at this hotel during a business trip, and it was fine for a business hotel. It was average, neither bad nor outstanding, just somewhere in the middle. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

It was like we were given an OOO room. The room is so dusty. One bed doesn’t have a duvet just bed sheet and sheets were not tucked in in both beds. The fridge is no nasty. The bathroom is a mess. Exhaust fan and the towel rack are about to fall on our heads. Sink is filled with molds. The toilet seat is broken and fell on the floor. The toilet seems like it was not brushed for a long time. The curtains are also broken. 2 days the elevator stopped working and we were staying in 4th floor. During check out we needed to use the stairs to bring down our luggages and no one from the hotel even bother to assist us. You can also hear all the noises outside .

DO NOT STAY HERE.... if I could give 0 stars I would. Arrived and the hotel is based in a very unsafe area of Brussels.. arrived and our hotel room was disgusting, dust all over the fan, disgusting black slime all over the shower, clumps of black hair in the toilet bowl. Further inspection found bugs in the bed, dust and left over rappers under the bed, dirty and stained mattress. The towels had what looked like poo stains all over them and some dodgy brown stains all over the sheets. Would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel. Bright Kebab shop light right outside of our window that was shining through even with the curtains closed. Ended up leaving at 2am in the morning 1 hour after arrival and having to pay out for another hotel after being told we cannot have a refund. Other members of our party ended up sleeping in their cars due to not being able to afford new hotels. Other party members found mites, bugs and dead roches in their rooms. Hotel receptionist was lovely and explained that they are the cheapest hotel in Brussels and it is a hotel used to house the homeless and *********** use it for work. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DO NOT STAY HERE.
