The hotel is quite basic in terms of style and furnishings, but it offers everything you need for a comfortable visit. The room was clean, water pressure is good, and there were plenty of useful amenities such as Wi-Fi, parking, and breakfast that you can cook your own egg. The location is one of its best features — it’s very close to the bus stop that takes you directly to Königssee, which made exploring the area super convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful with local tips and directions. Overall, a great option if you’re looking for place with good facilities and easy access to Königssee.

This is a skiing and hiking resort hotel, so the focus is slightly different from traditional hotels. There are many lockers for storing ski equipment in the hotel lobby, and there are pictures of snowboarding on the ceiling of the room, which is full of sports. But if you want toiletries, kettles, etc., there are none, only a bottle of three-in-one shampoo. Since the hotel is located by the lake with the cleanest water quality in Germany, it is assumed that the water in the water pipe can be drunk directly. The breakfast is simple, but the necessary nutrients are all there. You can fry and scramble eggs by yourself here, which is a lot of fun.
