The hotel has a really nice location, right at the foot of the Royal Sea. Our room had come in the years, but clean- that's the most important. Unfortunately, more positive there is no to say. Love for the details misses in this hotel in every corner. Breakfast buffet for corona seasons: a cup of apples, a cup of tomatoes, a table with each of the cheese and sauce varieties. Backbroods, caprisone as juice and water in 0.5 l bottles from the supermarket next to. (Victory Photo) There is no question that the Corona Time is a challenge for many companies, yet you can do a lot with a little love in detail. I work myself in a hotel and know what I am talking about. All placed a little more beautiful on the buffet together, a little decorated and already all would work differently on the guests. -Beside the breakfast room is another large room (a meeting room of good times?) which is fully equipped with furniture, rams and clean and dirty laundry. Unfortunately, you can see this from outside through the windows as guest - not a beautiful view. Especially since clean and dirty laundry should not be stored in a room... - The theme reception I don't need to talk to, that is found enough in the other reviews. -We had to leave the hotel because a blockade was prescribed in the Land of the Court of Justice. If we had not been informed in the news that we had to leave the hotel, we would have looked old. There was no information from the hotel. I don't want to go too detailed, but the fact that we had to run our money then, of the nights we paid too much, is really sad. Even the fact that We should then give the hotel renter by email that the Land Council has decided that he should not host us is really a strong piece. That has in no way to do with hospitality. Final word: The pictures here at Booking mislead. It's really a pity you could do so much out of this house! Then you'd rather take a hotel something a little far away from the King's Sea, but then let good conscience his money there. We were the first and last time in this House.

Alm- & Wellnesshotel Alpenhof

This is a stunning hotel in a stunning location. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and pretty much everyone speaks very good English. The room we stayed in was large with an incredible view of the mountains. There was a large very comfortable bed and a really nice bathroom. They have a lovely scheme where you can opt to skip housekeeping for the day and they will pay for a tree to be planted instead. The pool areas are wonderful and there are so many different areas to sit, relax and take in the views. While we were there this included paragliders floating over the valley. I was very very impressed by the food. Our first meal was the set menu for dinner. We had no idea how much it would be but we were astonished that it was only €25 each. The quality of each course was very high, so we opted to eat in the hotel each night. Breakfasts were also great with a huge choice of continental and cooked items. The selection of teas and the freshly squeezed juice were both very welcome. Between 2pm and 4pm there are also free ‘snacks’ available but this is again a sizeable selection of meat, cheese, salads, bread and absolutely delicious cakes, which were a full meal rather than a snack. I have stayed in similarly priced hotels and it always seems like the drinks and food are an absolute rip off but at the Alpenhof everything is so reasonably priced. We could not have been happier here it is an absolute gem!

Because it is a 3-Sterne-Hotel, we had corresponding expectations. The telephone table reservation was very, friendly and promptly accepted. The park search became more than sporty. We were finally in the entrance area where we should wait for the staff that leads us to the table. The servant who felt calling for it did not meet us, but sniffed us sharply to herself; only the appropriate piff missed yet! Our mood was a little down. Then we were led to one of the three most probably stupid tables that were present throughout the hall. Also this 2. Vapor we bravely got away. We were now sitting with 2 other couples in row and tail as in a mensa. 1,5 m away couldn't be talking. I know that every table should and must bring money. But one less and the other two would have made the atmosphere better and the distance would have been preserved. The friendly, careful and nice server definitely improved the somewhat strange impression we had won in the first minutes. I personally consider the food card too small. Only 2 supper as pre-feed are definitely too little for such a house. From the rest of the map you can find something. The dessert and ice card is very big for one. The tomato soup with herbs, the Bgd'ener mountain cliff and the devil toast were very delicious and tasty. The ice desserts rounded the whole very well. The service at the table is very good, the food is not varied, but very delicious. In total, a evening that is repeated by us and we hope the two initial dampers belong to the past!

Very clean hotel, the front desk staff is very welcoming, the room does not have a hot water bottle and cup, and the luggage can be stored for half a day for free. The room has an electric heater, and in mid-October I opened a little temperature. It is 15 minutes walk from the King Lake cruise terminal, and the walkway and car are separated, very safe. The dock was full and the boat started. I took the boat at 9 am, the lake was foggy and the scenery was not visible all the way, but when the fog cleared, the whole King's Lake and the Red Dome Church were full of fairy spirits against the trees and mountains. The October boat did not lead to the back lake.

I stayed with my parents and daughter during the late October 2019. It is a wonderful hotel with excellent location which just next to the Konigssee. My parents may have a morning walk before their breakfast. Their delicious breakfast to bring us a great good morning. Sarah is a very nice girl and very helpful for all my questions before arriving the hotel. The only problem is no lift facility so that my elderly parents with the heavy luggage is difficult to move, or you have to request for the G/F. It is highly recommended to who would like 100% touch with Konigssee. Secret tips which the hotel offered the free parking so no worry for the parking cost, totally relaxing to enjoy the natural sightseeing. Faith Lee.

This is a stunning hotel in a stunning location. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and pretty much everyone speaks very good English. The room we stayed in was large with an incredible view of the mountains. There was a large very comfortable bed and a really nice bathroom. The breakfast is great (very good for Europe), the location is on the hillside, and it is very convenient for tourists who drive by car to go to nearby attractions. For those who do not drive, there is a bus stop at the door. The hotel provides a tourist card and can take the bus for free Attractions. No kettle provided but you can ask for hot water from the restaurant
