Hotels with Bars in Schonefeld

Stayed here recently ahead of an early international flight. This was my second stay here and hopefully not the last. Not only is this hotel very convenient (it took me 3 minutes to get from the hotel to the check-in area), but also very relaxing and quite beautiful. I booked a regular room for 1 through Expedia (it was called “Superior Double Room” in the app), and ended up in one of the larger corner units with a view of the Departures. The room also came with some nice freebies: Vitamin water and coconut chips, both delicious. All in all had a great stay here ahead of a long flight; would highly recommend!

Good team, very welcoming, smiling and pleasant. The room is spacious and pretty. The bedding is very comfortable. Small downside in the shower because the water changes temperature during the shower which is not very pleasant. Pleasantly surprised because in the room there was a bottle of water, kettle and tea, coffee... Nice breakfast but.

It's great that there is now the IntercityHotel next to the Steigenberger directly at the terminal 1/2 of the BER. It was opened only mid January 2023. The rooms are modern, practical and chic, like the most new or renovated Intercity Hotels. The staff is very friendly and engaged, some processes must certainly engage in a new team. You are just a few minutes walking distance from the terminal at the check-in, as well as at the airport train station with remote, regional and S-rail transport. Breakfast is available from 6:00 a.m., the light is available in the restaurant, there is a variety of breakfast offer. After my not so great stay in the nearby Steigenberger, the IntercityHotel Airport BER is recommended. I just hope guests will not confuse it too often with the IntercityHotel at the Schönefeld train station, the names of the two hotels is certainly not so great.

Very well located, close to the airport, clean, cosy, everything in the room is very efficient. The breakfast was generous, healthy and well organised. The service in the hotel was nice and warm. Gods value for your money I strongly recommend

Reception: Average reception person who was not overly pleasent nor helpful, but not rude either. Room / facilities: Room number 143 is on the 1st floor and is clean and initially new smelling, however this soon faded aster the sewerage smell took over. We turned the air conditioning on cold, but the room didn’t cool, only the fan seems to function(on the air conditioner) to circulate air. The queen bed is very comfortable and the pillows were flat and unsupportive and did little to provide a good night sleep. There is a large flat screen TV, desk and chair, bed side tables and lamps, tea and coffee facilities, a fridge, and clothes hanging facilities. The bathroom contained a stand shower, which was a little tight. Self control air conditioning (which seemed not to cool, but only circulate some air in the otherwise stuffy room. Parking: Parking is available under the hotel. It is unknown if any additional charge is applicable, however there is plenty of street parking for no cost. Wifi: Complementary, and extremely fast. No validation required. Breakfast: Unsure if this is available. Conclusion: Great overnighter for a departure flight from Berlin Airport.

Stayed at the hotel after a few days in Leipzig ahead of an early morning flight. We were slightly apprehensive given the low cost of the hotel room (less than 70 euros for the night) however we were pleasantly surprised. Hotel is really clean and has all the amenities you need for a pre flight stay. The hotel is not located to any bars/restaurants or shops so wouldn’t recommend for anything other than a stay before/after a flight. The receptionist was excellent and there was vending machines which supplied snacks, water and alcohol as there isn’t a hotel bar. The hotel offers taxis to and from airport which can be booked under hotel room. In addition, no room keys or cards are given - just a code which means you don’t need to check out. All in all a good hotel.

There is a 10-minute cheap shuttle bus from the hotel to the airport. It feels like a hotel for young people Although the room is not very big, it has a young feel The facilities are also new You can buy something at a small convenience store in the evening And you’ll get free champagne when you check in. Free tea and water

This family-run hotel is in the picturesque town of Grossziethen, only 5 minutes’ drive away from Schönefeld Airport. It features electronic bike rentals and a restaurant. Haus Belger hotel offers rooms equipped with telephone, TV and radio with CD player. Each room has a private bathroom. Berlin city centre is a 30-minute drive from the hotel. The Tropical Islands amusement park can also be reached within 30 minutes’ drive. Garage parking is available at the hotel.
