到了酒店是20:30，酒店是個獨立的房子，從外面完全看不出來，窗户的燈都是黑的，也沒名字，大門緊閉，找了兩圈問了邊上的商家才知道就是這裏，按門鈴沒人，衹能找電話聯繫，這期間下起了大雨，被淋透了衹能回到車上打電話，好不容易找到人給我們開了門，一進去一股黴味，裏面很安靜感覺陰森森的，果斷離開，在附近找了另外一家酒店。

Nice with some limitations
This is a lovely B&B, but has limited support staff. Their English speaking staff is limited and so it is difficult to confirm even a simple request like reserving a taxi. Location is good and room is comfortable, although can be noisy until 10 pm as it is on a major city road.

Truly - a "house of charme!" Equally charming was our host Giuseppe and the delightful staff. We felt it, the minute we walked in. With so much original woodwork, fixtures, tile, furnishings and accessories, you cannot help feeling that you have somehow, time travelled. Or, found yourself on a movie set where a period piece was being filmed! Our suite was street / water facing with two great terraces. It was well appointed and oozed history, with just enough modern amenities to blend two worlds perfectly. The location is excellent, as Messina is a very walkable city, and anything of note is generally no more than a thirty minute walk. (I will say - the walk to Casa Di Cura Cristo Re left me a little out of puff at the top of the stairs, from the street!) Still - a very doable walk. The shopping district is a 20 - 30 minute walk, and featured shockingly reasonable prices! Could be the time of year? I must add - some of the higher end clothiers could do with a little less attitude! It's clothing for goodness sake ... chill out! Great restaurants nearby, and Giuseppe has excellent recommendations. Overall; can't say enough good things about Vittoria House of Charme, and was pleasantly surprised by Messina itself. Really enjoyed everything about this visit.

Lovely and Romantic
The hotel was absolutely lovely. We only stayed one night but I wish we had stayed more… The room was romantic and the rooftop terrace had a wonderful view of the harbor. The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast, but everything else including the garden was lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

Wow - what an amazing place! We didn't expect to find such a gem in Messina, but this hotel has so much character. Our suite had a balcony with a view, a huge en suite, a chandelier and a tapestry. We found we had the whole hotel to ourselves overnight (no staff on the premises!). Breakfast was fabulous, with loads of choice, and the location was great for exploring in the afternoon. Messina isn't the most exciting location (we were en route to the Aeolian Islands) but this hotel made our stay very special!

This is an exceptional place to stay. It is an old mansion that has been retrofitted to receive guests. It is beautiful and full of history. You feel as if you are stepping back in time. The location is also excellent. The staff superior and gave us a list of places to go and restaurants to visit. We had one of our BEST meals at the restaurant the suggested. The bed and pillows were also amazing. The best we slept in BY FAR. I would highly recommend staying here.
