It's on the first floor, so there are some bugs unavoidable, but overall it's very refreshing, and the location is also very good. There is a restaurant at the door, and there are supermarkets and many other stores nearby. It is highly recommended if you are on a business trip! But the price is very unstable.

Arrived early for check in, paid a £15 early check in, not bad went in at 11am. Helpful lady on the desk, polite and professional. Given a room on the ground floor, room 5 as had my baby with me. Lady in reception let me keep my babys food in the fridge which was super helpful! Room smelt a bit sweaty/humid. Window looking onto car park, handy as I could see my car! Few spaces out the front. Bed comfortable, nice big tele. Lovely big bath and fabulous shower. Fan provided in room. Lovely as room did get warm. Nice blackout curtains and net curtains. Very squeaky bathroom door and light not working by bed. All in all a comfortable nights stay.

Overall: Great location, perfect for weekend travelling. Bright, clean, accessible, warm and friendly staff (e.g. Sonia at reception who was very helpful). Rooms: Excellent as always from Premier Inn, large and completely functional twin room, spotlessly clean, incredibly comfy bed, spacious en-suite bathroom, great shower, large freshly laundered towels. Absolutely nothing to fault 🙂 Safety: All normal safety features appeared to be present and functional, and not aware of any safety issues. Food and drinks: Having arrived just after 11pm on a Friday night, we were told that the bar was closed and that no alcoholic beverages could be purchased after this time (only soft drinks available from a vending machine). Offering a night porter service, or similar, would be a welcome compromise/addition to what is, otherwise, a fantastic hotel

We stayed during the Easter weekend, and the kids absolutely loved it—especially thanks to Sonia M., who was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. When two of my boys found one Easter egg in the room, it was meant to be exchanged for a gift. However, Sonia kindly gave each of them a gift, which we did not expect. Thank you, Sonia, for going above and beyond and making our stay so enjoyable and fun!

Since my last stay here, an extension has been added and my ground floor room was in that section of the hotel. It was a quiet compact room, with the Premier Inn modern style decor and a welcome walk-in shower. There was also a comfortable wing armchair to relax in. I only paid £70 for 2 nights over the Easter weekend and the hotel and Beefeater staff were all lovely. The vast majority of the parking is to the front of the adjacent Beefeater. A bus stop is adjacent to the Morrisons car park for anyone wanting to go car free. It's just a shame the first impression you get of the hotel is the rather scruffy neglected grounds out front.
