"This was an ideal location for us en route to Cornwall and very close to somewhere we were visiting. It is almost in Tesco carpark but that was handy for us; it’s also in a convenient spot to access the beach and town-we even had a sea view. As others have said, the restaurant is short staffed (apparently only 1 chef working on Friday night in high summer?) We didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment about the service there. The room was comfortable and silent-we slept well. Whilst the bath, sink and toilet were clean, hand soap and shower gel are clearly watered down and it was obvious that no one had cleaned the floor behind the door for a good while. It was perhaps on the pricey side but we’d definitely stay here again."

"Excellent location, staff lovely really friendly and helpful. Next time would try and book one of the cottages. Room we had was at the front of the pub and due to the heat the wi dows had to be open which meant people outside until midnight disturbing when trying to sleep. Food really good and waitresses lovely very helpful. Will definately return and would recommend for a short break."
