The Edgewater, a Noble House Hotel

I was bit by a hobo slider and had to spend three hours in urgent care. I received a refund for my hotel stay but I had to reach out to the corporate office, as the front desk manager, room manager, and general manager were all refusing to return my phone calls. It was a nightmare.

Location is perfect for sailing from pier 66 but with fees and taxes it is grossly overpriced.

Amazing view!!! Really nice hotel. They skipped room servicing which was not that important to us, but if it is you may want another hotel.

We got in on a late arrival from the east coast. Check in was ok but when we got to our room , 134, my wife smelled gas and noticed that the balcony door was open. She did not sleep well that night. We were up and out early as we had a lot of activities booked. Our room was not cleaned as requested while we were out. Upon returning to our room the smell of gas was stronger. My wife went to the front desk while I began packing up our things. The front desk staff came to the room but would not enter due to the gas odor. They did offer us a replacement room which we accepted. Unfortunately it was directly over the problem room. We asked if they would be calling the fire department and they assured us that it would be taken care of. Naturally we did not try the gas fireplace, however it was one of the selling points for us staying at this property overlooking the water. We were not planning on fishing from our balcony as did the Beatles! Upon checking out we spoke with the manager who pleaded ignorance to all that occurred the previous night. We were comped for our first night but in reality the stay was ruined.

Rock and Roll Royalty. There is an iconesq vibe about this historic hotel. The property offers an opportunity for guests to experience a unique location. To stay over the water, with the amazing views offered makes the stay worth it alone. The rock-n-roll history, and the trendy interior of the property drives that point home too. You won’t regret staying here.

Excellent service, advance text to confirm planned arrival time, the room was ready an hour before normal 4pm check in. Old structure, updated with safety features but clearly maintains its roots in rock n roll. Only negative, room snacks & beverages would be overpriced at half the cost.
