"Very warm and welcoming atmosphere . The staff are friendly and always eager to assist. The hotel manager is also known for being very friendly. The location is excellent, conveniently situated across from a bus station. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is located next to a mosque and a street, which means that there may be some noise from children playing late at night."

Ena Serenity Boutique Hotel Ephesus

"ENA Serenity bears its name well. It is exactly that: Serenity. From the moment you enter you leave the world behind and are welcomed with an amazing husband and wife team who do everything they can to make your stay a memorable one. Their genuine approach, hard work to personalize your needs, the amazingly cozy and comfort especially on the terrace make ENA Serenity an ideal place to stay while in Selcuk. Location is perfect: around 5 minutes from everything you need from the train station to the taxi stands, restaurants & shopping center. The rooms are spacious , very clean and have coffee/tea maker which provides convenience. Beds are comfortable and there is plenty of space for your clothes. The bathrooms have a gorgeous design that make you want to replicate in your own home. Diana’s kitchen : home made foods, totally organic, everything always made fresh. It’s impossible not to eat everything in your plate but then want more. The breakfasts are scrumptious. The terrace is true nirvana. The sunsets with the soft music, the ambiance, the beauty with the silence provides an unparalleled peace. The little touches they provide such as preparing a sandwich for my early morning tour that made miss my breakfast was a lovely gesture. Over all a 10. Don’t waste your time researching other places to stay. ENA Serenity will be your home away from home. "

"From start to finish, our stay at In Ephesus Hotel & Art Gallery was absolutely perfect. Even before we arrived, the host was incredibly responsive, sending us a warm welcome note and clear check-in details. The moment we pulled up, the staff was already waiting for us at the entrance. They helped us park the car, took care of all our luggage, and brought it straight to our room. The level of care here is unmatched. We were immediately welcomed with delicious coffee, and the staff gave us a thorough tour of our room, ensuring we had everything we needed. They even provide complimentary drinks in the fridge, which was a wonderful touch! The owner is a truly exceptional host, incredibly kind, informative, and warm. She went above and beyond to guide us to the best local restaurants and must-visit places. What touched us most was how incredibly friendly and sweet she was with my wife and kids. She made our entire family feel right at home. To top it all off, the breakfast was outstanding, completely organic, homemade, and served with fresh orange juice. She truly made our entire trip to Ephesus unforgettable. If we ever return, we wouldn't dream of staying anywhere else!"

Nazar Hotel Hotels in Selcuk

"Our group of five, traveling by car, checked into this hotel. The hotel was quaint, quiet, and clean, and the breakfast was excellent. The next day, we discovered that the tire pressure in our rented car was below 160. We approached the hotel owner for help. Without hesitation, the owner enthusiastically contacted a car rental company for us and personally took us there. Upon inspection, it was found to be a slow leak. The owner proactively contacted the rental company, who repaired the tires. Because the leak was near the keel, we were concerned and requested a replacement vehicle. Due to the language barrier, communication was difficult. Thanks to the hotel owner, who repeatedly communicated with the rental company on our behalf, we finally received a replacement vehicle the following day before our planned trip, ensuring our itinerary was not disrupted. We are extremely grateful for the hotel owner's warm service and patient assistance. The owner's friendliness and kindness made us feel at home, leaving a lasting impression. We would like to express our sincere gratitude once again to the hotel owner and staff!"

"Overall, we were very satisfied with the experience and would recommend it to everyone. It's only 3 kilometers from the ancient city of Ephesus, and you can park your car at the main entrance. Cleanliness: The room smelled wonderful as soon as we entered, and everything was very clean. Facilities: The basic facilities were complete, consistent with the promotional photos. Our family of three chose a triple room, which included two single beds and an extra bed—very comfortable. Environment: The dark wood decor combined with the white walls was beautiful. The blooming flowers at the entrance were gorgeous. There's a small courtyard, a swimming pool, and a restaurant for breakfast. Service: The staff warmly welcomed us upon check-in, and the breakfast was very plentiful. We could choose how the eggs were cooked. And there were so many adorable cats and dogs! They looked at us with such pious eyes while we ate breakfast, haha!"

Aqua Fantasy Aquapark Hotel & Spa - Ultra All Inclusive Hotels in Selcuk

Aqua Fantasy Aquapark Hotel & Spa - Ultra All Inclusive

"This was our first family trip with our 16-month-old baby and also our first holiday after 3 years. Our last trip was to Jungle Aqua Hurghada, so we were really looking forward to this one. We stayed at Aqua Park and booked through Trip.com for 2 adults and 1 infant. However, on arrival the reception staff embarrassed us by saying, in front of other guests, that we had only booked for 2 adults and not for 3 people. I showed them my booking confirmation clearly stating 2 adults and 1 child. After speaking to someone else, the receptionist simply said “okay fine” with no apology or explanation for the misunderstanding. We were then given a room at the very end of the corridor, far from the lift, despite them clearly seeing we had a baby with us. Another issue was the confusion around the “Ultra All Inclusive” package. We were told snacks and drinks were not included and that we would have to pay extra. We were also told we could not eat anywhere except the main restaurant, which only had around 4 dishes available on the first day. Whenever we asked questions at reception, the staff were not helpful and just kept saying “no, no, no” without properly explaining anything. After I contacted Trip.com and complained, things improved slightly, possibly after they spoke with the hotel. But I was still charged almost £90 extra for my 16-month-old baby’s stay, which made no sense to me. By the third day, the food situation became better, but then the bathroom started leaking. We called reception and they temporarily fixed the flush, but it leaked again afterwards. Since we only had 2 days left of our 6-day trip, we didn’t bother reporting it again. Overall, this holiday was mentally exhausting rather than relaxing. We came back feeling stressed instead of refreshed. Unfortunately, due to the poor communication, lack of customer service, and overall chaos during our stay, I would not book this hotel again Location and views of this hotel is extremely recommended but services letting it down. Hope things get better for others."

Ephesus Hitit Hotel Restaurant Hotels in Selcuk

Ephesus Hitit Hotel Restaurant

"PRELIMINARY NOTE: I didn't choose this hotel myself; it was a stop on a package tour of western Turkey from Istanbul down to Antalya. I don't know the actual hotel rate for my stay, so I can't really comment on the value for money. LOCATION: It's located on the outskirts of the small town of Selcuk. It's right next to a busy highway and near a gas station. It took me about 20 minutes to walk to the center of Selcuk at a leisurely pace. There's hardly anything around the hotel. So, if you want to go shopping or have some variety, you should head into town. There you'll also find the Selcuk Fortress on a hill. FACILITIES/SERVICE: The reception was friendly and uncomplicated, and the lobby and public areas made a good impression. I didn't use the outdoor pool or spa facilities, so I can't comment on them. Our tour group was also only there for one night, like the vast majority of guests. The ancient site of Ephesus is nearby, and Selçuk itself isn't a touristy place, so most people come "only" for Ephesus, and the next day the many tour buses move on. Wi-Fi is free, fast, and reliable. There's a bar in the lobby as well as a lounge area. There are two small elevators. The breakfast and dinner selection is limited, offers a basic variety, and is acceptable by Turkish standards. The staff is attentive and friendly. ROOMS: My double room with two single beds for single occupancy was on the first floor – unfortunately facing the street. You can hear the cars, especially when it rains – and it did rain. The windows are single-glazed, and the window and door frames are very thin, like sheet metal. There's no ceiling light, only wall lamps, which makes the room rather dim. The TV is flat-screen but small. There's no safe, only a very old key-operated model languishing uselessly in the dilapidated wardrobe. There's no luggage rack or anything like that. Instead, there are quite a few scratches on the wall. There's a small balcony, a small refrigerator, and two complimentary 0.5-liter bottles of water. It's also a plus that there's no carpet; I don't like rooms with carpets. I find them unhygienic. I personally found the mattress quite hard, but they definitely didn't skimp on the fabric softener for the towels. The bed linens are okay. The rooms are a bit noisy. CONCLUSION: Well, if I had planned to visit Selçuk and then Ephesus on my own, I would have chosen a hotel in the center. This one, as mentioned, was a pre-planned stop. It's okay for one night. The areas I saw and used were in good condition, the staff was friendly, and the food was decent. If you decide to eat there, I recommend asking for a room at the back, away from the main road and the buses that stop right outside."

The Pilgrim Ephesus Hotel Hotels in Selcuk

The Pilgrim Ephesus Hotel

"This is a lovely new boutique hotel in the old town in Selcuk. The owner, Murat, is fantastic, he's constantly looking for ways of helping make guests' stay better. Whenever we asked, Murat had an answer or made necessary arrangements. The room we had was great too. Good air conditioning, comfortable bed and a great shower. Breakfast was also lovely, a bit different to other places, everything was very fresh. Selcuk is a nice town. Tourism is a significant part of what it does but there's more to it than that. There are nice places to eat (the nearby Ayasaluk Restaurant was especially good), and there are the Ephesus Museum and the ruins outside of town, which are amazing. A day-trip to Pammukale is long but definitely worthwhile too."

Ephesus Nobel Otel ★★★
"This hotel is located in the small town of Selcuk next to Ephesus. There is a market at the doorstep, which is convenient for shopping. The price of a family room is about RMB 500, which is quite affordable, but the quality is just so-so. Compared with the price of more than RMB 500 in China, this quality is definitely seriously inconsistent. But it can't be compared with China. The price in Turkey is basically twice that of China, so it's balanced if you think about it this way."

"Location is superb, it is right next to the Efes Museum. We had a car so it wasn’t a big deal for us to go to the ancient city and the Virgin Mary’s tomb but even if we hadn’t, there are plenty of choices of public transportation. You can even walk to the ruins of the ancient city. The breakfast was nice, the staff was sincere and helpful. The cafe next to the hotel has good tea. And there are a lot of shops and restaurants nearby. The castle is only a few hundreds away from the hotel."

"Fantastic hosts who were friendly, welcoming, and so accommodating. It was a home away from home. The food was the best we have had in Turkey. Breakfast was lovely, and if Diana is cooking dinner, do take that opportunity - there is no point in going anywhere else. Selcuk and ENA hotel is a Turkey highlight for us. A lovely restful spot."

Kallinos Boutique Hotel ★★★
"This was the tiniest room of anywhere we stayed in Turkiye. The rooms themselves are sandwiched between the coffee shop on the lower floor and the pizza shop upstairs. The street is quite noisy from all the tour busses and tourists constantly streaming through. Parking was in a back street, easy enough if you're comfortable with driving and parking on the tiny local streets but there's no lot or dedicated area for it. In our room, the AC had a bright light that would keep you up at night, the street noise was very prevalent, the shower doesn't have a door, the bathroom light didn't work, and the bed was absolutely hard as a rock. It's was clean, the sheets were comfortable, and the view of the ruins is spectacular, however. Reception is simply the barista, so you may have to wait a bit if there is a horde of customers from the busses. Coffee was only fine, pizza was excellent, breakfast was forgettable."
