The hotel's primary focus on Chinese guests is evident in its services and amenities, which are predominantly in Chinese. This should be clearly stated in the hotel description on the booking websites. The villa itself is well-maintained, spacious, and equipped with everything you need. The beds and linens are of good quality, the toiletries are nice, and the bathroom is modern and clean. The air conditioner is quiet, but the external unit is quite noisy. The exterior and garden are lovely and clean. The breakfast buffet was subpar, with cold food and coffee that required guests to microwave (completely in Chinese) it themselves, which was also a major inconvenience. Yet, the variety and quality of food was good and tasty. The staff seemed indifferent to the lack of coffee and food, and the lady who came to "check" on us only brought coffee when we asked. Overall, our stay was satisfactory, but this place definitely needs to improve its hospitality and guest service. Given the above this place is too overpriced.

The hotel is so far from the airport and the center. The environment is very quiet but there are so many bugs. The worst thing is high temperature even with the air condition keep working all the time in the afternoon. In conclusion,the hotel doesn't worth the price.😓😓

Beautiful, comfortable and clean villa’s and very helpful staff but nothing to do on site. Pool was empty. We only stayed one night to transfer to Mabul island. Other guests are mostly Chinese. We were offered an up and downtown transfer to Semporna around dinner time which was very nice.

Very good experience here with Opine. Clean room and toilet also the outside view around villas is awesome! Me and my girlfriend had a good time!

Villa is located far away from the pier. The hotel did provide the free shuttle service. The staffs were very friendly. However, villa is not very comfortable compared to the normal hotel.

We chose Opine Villas as we wanted a more spacious place for our three nights at Semporna. We wanted to ensure we got well-rested before each coming day that was full of activities. We’re glad the villas were beautifully maintained and our every need was attended to. Highly recommended for couples and families!

I am especially glad that I made the right choice and chose Pineapple Sea among many hotels. It has good privacy and single-family villas, and I can embrace nature directly. This is something that people who have lived in the city for a long time can't match. I feel very relaxed and I will definitely choose here again next time!

Everyone says that the accommodation conditions in Semporna town are poor. I looked at several hotels and they were not good enough. Suddenly I saw Pineapple Sea. I was fascinated by its scenery. It was completely in the style of a resort. After booking, I contacted the boss on WeChat. The boss was very considerate and told us what to prepare in advance. Including our trip to the sea, which was arranged by the boss. The service was very meticulous. Before I arrived in Semporna, a special service group had been set up. When I arrived, they would arrange airport pick-up in advance. I didn’t have to worry about it along the way. If I had any questions, I could ask in the group and they would reply at any time. The two-bedroom room we stayed in was very large and clean. There were shuttle buses to the town. They would recommend local food and it was very cost-effective. It was a pity that the schedule was tight, otherwise I really wanted to stay a few more days. I will have a chance to go there and have fun for a few days next time. I still chose to stay at Pineapple Sea~

The room is clean and tidy. The original ecological environment around the ethnic group is especially suitable for parent-child travel. It is very quiet to sleep at night. The water heater is independent and the water temperature is constant. It is very good overall.

It is a small single-family villa in the woods. The room is large and has a balcony for drying clothes. The hotel also provides a shuttle bus to town. It is quite convenient for traveling. I traveled with a few friends this time. I also asked the hotel owner to help arrange island hopping and sea fishing. It was also very convenient and fast.

Houses in Semporna are really expensive in general. The hotel is located in the woods, a certain distance from the town. There is a shuttle bus, but we didn't have time to take the bus, so we had to take a Grab. In addition, the road at the entrance is too small and broken, and it is bumpy every time you go in and out.
