Well-managed and clean, making female guests feel safe. The bunk beds are spacious, and there are many dining options nearby. Facilities: Complete. Cleanliness: You need to remove your shoes upon entry. Environment: Cozy and comfortable, good location in town. Service: Staff speak Chinese, so basic communication is not an issue. Recommended.

Superbly located. Everything was very clean. Complimentary water and kitchen access (tea, coffee, etc.).

Similar to a small hostel, you need to take off your shoes before entering. The public areas are quite clean. We stayed in a family room, which was very small but had a private bathroom, though the wet and dry areas weren't separated.

Terrible, not clean at all, no hot water. The owner seems greedy for money. It's obviously a Chinese-owned shop.

This one didn't have a toilet or bathroom, and I thought since I'd already booked it, I'd check out the room first before deciding whether to stay. But they wouldn't let me see the room unless I paid a deposit, and it was non-refundable. Not even for one night, and still no room viewing allowed. I said it several times and used a translation app to convey my meaning, but they absolutely insisted on the deposit without letting me see the room.

Excellent little accomodation that has all you need at very reasonable rates. It's centrally located, clean and has very friendly staff. I decided to extend my stay for an other two nights. I was initially a bit hesitant as I read that wifi might not be working well, but it was quite the opposite. It was strong enough for me to take a video call for work which I'm happy about. A simple hotel for a few nights in Semporna. It's a short walk to the harbor. The amenities are basic but functional. The fan didn't work, but the air conditioning did.

Very good hotel at a very proper location near the port and also the cat here was very cute.

Location is centrally placed in the Town and with that comes some annoyances: street noise, stray fighting dogs and loud neighbours, including some guests who ignore the " from 10pm quiet rule " ear plugs are essential. Outdoor shoes to be removed at the front door. 100Riggit is taken at checkin and reimbursed on check-out. I had the double bunk bed room. Comfortable wide bed with bedside lamp ,a bonus. No wardrobes,could do with more hanging hooks. Shared bathrooms. There were three showers and three toilets which I never had to queue for one. Each shower room and toilet was supplied with flipflops. Loads of 'do's' and 'don'ts" notices everywhere with threats of heavy monetary penalties. AC worked well, I hate hard floors so used soft slippers in my room. Everywhere is spotlessly clean in the common areas as mentioned, although my room wasn't or rubbish emptied in the three days I was there. The kitchenette was adequate for hot drinks but someone else was cooking breakfast in the microwave. Resident cat's still present. The bus terminal for Tawau is about 50metres down the road,extremely convenient!

First time in Semporna, and after reading reviews about this place being very clean, I was truly impressed upon arrival. It's the cleanest guesthouse I've ever stayed in. The price is reasonable, and I extended my stay twice for a total of six nights.

Not bad! Even though you can't wear shoes inside, it's very clean! I loved the cats! Lots of young people around! Recommended! They have staff who speak Chinese, but most aren't usually available.

Pretty good. The front desk was also helpful. The overall environment isn't ideal, but the room was clean.

Great location, perfect for long-term travelers who want to do laundry and meet new people.
