Dormy Inn Express Sendai Seaside Natural Hot Spring Reviews

The hotel room was incredibly spacious. The onsen (hot springs) boasted 7 different pools, the most I've ever seen at a Dormy Inn. The bathing facilities were available all night, and of course, Yakult and ice cream were plentiful. They even offered complimentary noodles in the evening. Extremely satisfied!

This Dormy Inn is by far the best one we've stayed at in Japan! The room felt slightly larger than the standard Dormy Inn basic room types, and the highlight was definitely the multiple outdoor onsen baths available (usually there's just one). It was fantastic to try out all the different ones in rotation. The service was also excellent. The only downside is the location, which is a bit out of the way, situated between Sendai city center and Matsushima Coast (a 25-minute walk from JR Nakano-sakae Station, or a 5-minute taxi ride costing around 1000 JPY). Other than that, there are no flaws, and the Ctrip group purchase price was an absolute steal. Plus, the Kirin Beer Factory is right next door, so if you have time, you can book a tour.

This hotel is located about 15mins walk away from Nakanosakae Station and 10mins walk away from Sendai Aquarium. Mitsui Outlet is also conveniently about 10mins walk away. Check in can be a chore as it is self service but the staffs are available to help with the information required. Other than that, the hotel is awesome! Breakfast has a huge spread, especially with the Salmon and Tuna Sashimi to make your own don. After your onsen bath, there is ice popsicle at night and lactic drink in the morning. The hotel also provides their late night Soyu Soba for free if you are hungry. Other than this, there is a comic library to pass your time. Room size is decent. Enjoyed my stay here for 2 nights.

The public areas and room are very clean.  A bit of a walk from the train station, but it’s worth it becos of the hot spring!

My stay at the hotel was decent. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable enough. The staff was generally polite, but I felt they could have been more attentive. The location was convenient, and the breakfast was satisfactory. Overall, it was a standard experience without any standout features.

Nice public bath and ramen for supper after bath. Large park and Walking distance to Kiren beer factory.

Good hotel with breakfast included. The night time noodle is great. There is free washing but dryer cost some money.

Room is clean although the fittings and furnishings are rather old and worn out. The use of the onsen spa facilities an added advantage for staying there. My main complaint is that the wifi in my room did not work.
