Ure Lodge

This was my first time booking a hotel and it was a disaster. We made the reservation over two months in advance, only to be told the day before check-in that our room had been canceled due to equipment malfunction. On check-in, we were told we could upgrade to a superior room type, which we accepted. However, upon arrival, we discovered the upgraded room was on the second floor of a building that wasn't officially open. The first floor was still under renovation and in a complete mess. There was no trash can in the room, no curtains in the bathroom, and the quilt and pillows were all made right in front of us by the staff, who were very friendly and apologized profusely! This reservation was placed through an agent on Ctrip, so we can't hold the agent responsible. Ctrip's management was inadequate and they should be held responsible for this!

We chose a two-bedroom apartment for three people. One room was high up in the attic, and the other room was very small. There was no closet to store clothes or suitcases. The apartment was fine, clean, and serviceable. The bathroom with a shower was very nice. It lacked soap for the shower. Access was a bit tricky upon arrival because there was no reception. They emailed you access codes to the apartment before you arrived. We had trouble finding our specific apartment. It's a very quiet place to relax because there's nothing nearby; it's very small, with a few scattered houses.
