The place was very good and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The owner can speak English very well. Although the location is in a rural place it's very close to lot's of beautiful tourist sites.

Stayed here for three nights -- booked two rooms for me and my three adult kids. You will definitely need your car's GPS to find this charming guesthouse in a quiet, residential neighborhood. Mr. Choi and his wife are delightful, welcoming hosts. He has a lot of good advice on sites to see in the area, and she cooks a lovely Korean-style breakfast in the mornings. They have a lovely garden that you can wander around in, and there are some semi-feral cats and kittens living on the property who are fairly friendly. The rooms are well-appointed and spotlessly clean, with AC and flat-screen TVs (we didn't watch; too busy exploring Jeju!). There is a fridge and a cooktop and cooking equipment if you want to make a meal. The house is a two-minute walk to the ocean, which is a lava-rock coast, so not swimmable, but very scenic. Several good restaurants are nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Blue Island and would definitely return in the future!

좋았던 점 · 사장님 내외분이 굉장히 친절하시고 숙박객들의 편의를 위해서 최선을 다하시는 것 같습니다. 숙소나 기타 시설은 소박하고 베이직 레벨이지만(게스트하우스니까요!) 필요한 것은 대부분 다 있고 방이나 목욕탕도 깨끗합니다. 샴푸, 컨디셔너, 바디워시, 치약, 수건, 드라이어 등이 갖춰져 있고 저희는 이용 안 했지만 전기차 충전기가 있어서 편리할 듯합니다. 동네도 조용하고 해변도 가까워서 시간 날 때 산책하기도 좋아요. 부모님 모시고 간 거라 걱정도 됐지만 어른들도 좋아하셨다는 리뷰들 보고 선택한 건데 저희 부모님도 어떤 점은 다른 날 묵은 호텔보다도 마음에 들어하시더라구요. 무엇보다 가격대를 생각하면 이 이상의 가성비 숙소를 찾을 수 있을까 싶습니다. 아쉬웠던 점 · 패밀리룸의 경우 침대가 없고 바닥에 매트를 깔고 잔다는 점은 염두에 두셔야 할 것 같습니다. 아침식사는 그때그때 메뉴가 달라지는 것 같구요. 식사 후 숙박객이 직접 설거지를 해야 합니다. 전혀 불만사항은 아니지만 미리 설명에 고지해 주시면 좋을 것 같아요.
