HOMES Stay Myeongdong

The room was very clean, and all the facilities were new. The hotel is conveniently located near the airport shuttle drop-off point, with several 7-Elevens and convenience stores downstairs. There's also a subway station right outside, and bakeries and coffee shops nearby, making it very convenient.

Aside from the location, everything else was pretty disappointing. The hygiene was subpar and the elevator took ages. However, the location is incredibly convenient, being very close to Myeongdong and the subway station, making it easy to get anywhere. Plus, there's direct subway access from B1.

The curtains were a bit too thin, letting in too much light, but everything else was good. It had a large fridge and a small kitchen. We stayed for three nights. Check-in and luggage storage were on B2, and the subway was on B1. There are several hotels in the building, and even on the same floor, they might not be the same establishment. The weekday price was reasonable, around 700+ for a family room, but it was triple that on weekends.

Overall, I'm satisfied. The environment, service, and breakfast were all good, though the room was a bit small. You can see Namsan Tower from the room, and the subway is on B1. They clean and replace toiletries daily.

The bathroom always had a strange smell, and the bed sheets weren't changed between guests – there were even residue marks from other people on the duvet. It was quite upsetting. When traveling abroad, it's definitely best to bring your own disposable bedding.

The hotel boasts excellent transport links, with direct access to the subway station. Downstairs, you'll find a convenience store and Starbucks. It's also super convenient for Myeongdong, just a 10-minute walk or one subway stop away. The room is equipped with cooking facilities, a fridge, and a microwave, making it perfect for solo travelers visiting Korea.
