82 Capsule Hotel

This was my first time staying in a capsule hotel, and I was very satisfied! I arrived around 5 AM, and the Hongdae area was surprisingly lively, with people everywhere. I was a bit worried about safety on the streets, but there was absolutely no need to be. There's a convenience store downstairs where you can grab a few things. You just take the elevator behind Gong Cha up to the fourth floor, then walk up to change your shoes. The check-in instructions were very clear; after scanning a QR code and entering my name, I received all the necessary passcodes. When I arrived, someone was at the front desk on the fifth floor. I asked if I could shower right away (it was a bit past 5 AM), and after getting the go-ahead, I took a shower while no one else was around. Towels, shampoo, body wash, conditioner, toothpaste, and toothbrushes were all provided. Afterward, I went to the restroom to dry my hair. The sixth floor is where the capsules are. Each capsule has two charging ports, and the bed was much larger than I expected – far bigger than the beds in high school or university dorms. I'm the type of person who isn't bothered by noise once I'm asleep, so I slept great. In the morning, I could hear people opening and closing doors in other capsules intermittently, but it didn't affect my sleep at all. I slept until 10:30 AM before getting up and heading out.

Very clean and hygienic. You barely see the front desk during your stay, which is perfect for introverts.

For this price, a capsule hotel in central Seoul that offers clean rooms, breakfast (including milk, freshly ground coffee, toast, and ham), plus 24-hour AC, is absolutely fantastic!

Overall, I'm very satisfied and this is my second time staying here. However, one night, an Indian guest checked in and made a very loud phone call for two hours between 3 and 4 AM. I couldn't sleep a wink all night. Their behavior was really poor.

This is a self-service capsule hotel, and I barely saw any staff. The hygiene was excellent, and all the toiletries were well-stocked. I really appreciated that the luggage and changing area was separate from the sleeping pods; it significantly reduced disturbances from guests with different schedules.

The location is quite good, about an 8-minute walk to the subway station. The overall environment is comfortable and quiet, with no major flaws. The only downside is that the personal lockers are extremely narrow, barely fitting any luggage, so I had to use the public shelves.
