Seoul Residence Myeongdong

The location is superb, just a 2-minute walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 3, right in the heart of Myeongdong, on the north side. We stayed in a 4-person family room with two bedrooms, which was very spacious. The room was fully equipped with cooking utensils, so we could cook Korean beef, bake bread, or even make soup right in our room. There's also a washing machine and even a clothing sanitizing cabinet! It was perfect for dropping off our shopping and resting immediately. The price was also more affordable and the hotel newer compared to nearby options. We'll definitely be back!

Everything was excellent, just one tiny improvement needed: the shower water pressure was extremely low. Everything else was top-notch – the location was great, the accommodation was clean, and the staff were all very kind and helpful. If they could add another TV upstairs, it would be perfect. I'm sure this hotel will be fully booked in less than a month, especially since a K-pop club opened downstairs 😰. I hope I get a chance to book it again next time. I'm very satisfied! It's the best one among all the hotels I've stayed in.

This room was quite spacious for Korea, and perfect for the four of us. It was very clean and attractive. The location is super convenient, just a 1-minute walk from Myeongdong Station Exit 3. Great for shopping and exploring!

I booked this guesthouse because we started looking for accommodation only two weeks before our May Day trip, and most hotels were already fully booked. By chance, I saw Faye Wong's vlog where she recommended the loft room here, and the price was quite reasonable, so I booked it. However, one day, Trip.com customer service informed me that my booked room type was full and offered me an upgrade. So, I actually stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, which I highly recommend if you're a family of three or traveling with friends. Location: Super convenient! It's right at the entrance of Myeongdong's main street, next to the largest North Face store. It's about a 10-minute walk to Shinsegae and Lotte Duty-Free. The location is truly unbeatable, and there's a subway station downstairs. The room was also very clean, and the gentleman who checked us in was very friendly. You can also store your luggage at the front desk when checking out (don't worry if there's no one at the front desk, just walk to the end, there's a glass room where the front desk staff might be. We waited for quite a while at the front desk that day, so you might need to look around a bit).
