Klaven Hotel Myeongdong City Hall (rebranded on 2026)

The location is excellent: there are many cafes and shops nearby, and Myeongdong street is within walking distance. The hotel is located in an alley, so it's quiet and peaceful. The hotel staff are friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is good: there are eggs, fruits, butter, and bacon. The bed linen is clean, and there are enough towels. Drawbacks: The room is old and a bit dirty (the carpet has stains, as does the bedside table), and the windows are dirty. Overall, the hotel is decent, especially given its convenient location.

The room was clean and the location was super convenient for getting around. I'll definitely book here again on my next visit. Having a luggage scale downstairs was a fantastic bonus! It would be even better if there was someone at the front desk who spoke Chinese, hehe.

The hotel's location is excellent and easy to find, with convenient transportation. The front desk staff speak Chinese. There's a breakfast area and a cafe in the lobby. It's very convenient for shopping in the surrounding Myeongdong area, and you can even see N Seoul Tower. A big plus is that the rooms don't require an adapter. The only thing that could be improved is the limited breakfast variety, though it's still enough to fill you up. I stayed on a weekend, so the price wasn't cheap; I imagine it's more affordable on weekdays. I would definitely book again.

This hotel boasts a fantastic location, right in Myeongdong and near Lotte Department Store. It's super convenient to drop off your shopping bags after a spree. You've also got subway lines 1 and 2 nearby, and the airport shuttle drops you off directly. Plus, you can take a one-stop subway ride to Seoul Station for the Airport Express. So handy! The rooms are quite spacious, and there's a water dispenser right by the elevator on every floor. You can order delivery by connecting to the hotel's Wi-Fi, no need to beg for help on second-hand apps. I'll definitely choose this hotel again for my next trip.
