Dongdaemun Hwashin Hostel

This is my second time staying here. The owner is very kind and friendly. It's close to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, and there are many restaurants and WOWPASS charging machines nearby, which is very convenient. It's a clean and comfortable place to stay, so I'd love to use it again.

Quiet accommodation, close to the subway station, convenient for travel. The owner/manager was very kind and polite. The room was clean. Will definitely go again! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This was my first time staying here, and I was very impressed. The building is conveniently located near Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station on Line 5. It's also just over a 5-minute walk to DDP and about a 15-minute walk to Doota Mall, which is excellent. There's a 7-Eleven right outside the hostel, so it was easy to grab drinks and snacks. The man at the reception desk was incredibly friendly and always greeted me with a smile, making my stay very pleasant. I regret not having studied more Korean (lol). Both the room and the bathroom facilities were very clean. I really appreciated the curtain between the toilet and shower, which kept the toilet dry. The room also had air conditioning (seems to be cooling only), a TV, and a refrigerator, which was more than enough for a solo traveler. I definitely want to stay here again on my next trip to Korea.

Stayed for 3 nights. The room has a strict no-smoking policy, no loud noises, laundry only after 9 AM, and no showering after 11 PM... Lots of rules, which I actually like. The room is a bit small, perfect for one person; it would be a bit cramped for two. It's close to the subway, Dongdaemun Design Plaza, Hanok Village, etc.

The room was exceptionally clean and had heating, making for a very comfortable sleep. It's also super close to the nearest subway station, just a two-minute walk away. I came with a friend, and since we're minors, I contacted the owner in advance. The owner was incredibly nice, helped us with our luggage, and was always available to sort out any issues we had. Overall, our experience was fantastic! The room wasn't huge, so we basically just used it as a place to sleep, but it was definitely great value for money. (P1 shows some late-night food we bought near the hotel.)

The hotel's location is excellent! The subway entrance is less than a minute's walk away, which is super convenient for getting around and exploring. The room was also very clean; although a bit small, it was very comfortable to stay in. The owner was also very kind and even helped me carry my luggage upstairs, which I really appreciated!
