H-Avenue Hotel Yeoksam Reviews

I didn’t use the meals or facilities during this trip, so I’m giving a neutral rating. The hotel location was perfect for my itinerary—close to the subway and with plenty of dining options nearby. The room was also very clean. The only downside was that there seemed to be construction nearby in the morning, so there was some noisy banging sounds.

The room was advertised as a twin room on Ctrip, but we were given a single bed upon arrival. We had to pay an extra 30,000 KRW to switch to a twin room. The overall environment was decent.

The room is a bit small, and although I booked only one room for two people, they didn’t provide an extra quilt. They said each room can only have one quilt. Other than that, everything was great. They offer free drinks and snacks on the first floor, which is very nice. The location is also excellent, close to many tourist attractions.

Terrible service. They rip off tourists with all sorts of hidden fees. I recommend everyone stay elsewhere.

Decent stay

Three adults came on a business trip and had a comfortable stay. We also received a room upgrade, which was nice.

The photos on Trip.com may make it look clean, but the towels had blood and stains on them, so I didn't want to use them at all. I told the staff and they replaced them, but they still had stains. The bathrobe looked brand new, but it was torn, and there was already water in the fridge that had been opened, so it was terrible. The level of cleanliness is unheard of in Japan, so if you're just going to sleep and don't mind, it's fine.

The hotel was terrible. It was terrifying at night. The windows in the sleeping room were broken and drafty. I booked two nights, but I could only check in at 8 pm on the first night. Then on the second night, they made me take my luggage out to store it, and then I could check back in at 8 pm. The sheets were dirty and the environment was filthy.

It was a large, run-down motel located in Gangnam. The only advantage was the parking, but I didn't notice any other advantages during my two nights there.

It's quiet and has a nice atmosphere. There's also a free self-service bar, so it's great to use.

I didn't expect much because of the poor reviews, but the staff were all friendly, the location was good, and it was clean. I'll be back again.

Unfriendly staff When I came back in the evening after going out, the room wasn't cleaned, so I asked the counter, and they asked me, "Did you request it?" lol I didn't receive any guidance when checking in. There was no information on the reservation site either They said there was no Wi-Fi password, but it was locked, so I was assigned to the room next door - they were also unfriendly during this process (some rooms are locked, so please check) I lifted the blanket and saw a stain, so I felt uncomfortable and slept in the same bed (two-bed room) - I don't think the pictures showed everything
